My favourite part of that clip is chat changing from "Lol" to "make it stop" once the reality check really starts. Chat wasn't ready. Just a flood of "yamero" once university and following your dreams is mentioned.
The wisdom mixed with the crushing reality of his advice is pretty in character. The great thing about Yashiro is how his character (probably based mostly on reality) is this guy exhausted by life after doing years of soulless corporate work, so he always has this look on his face like he hasn't slept in days.
In much of the lore Ame is believed to be time travelling constantly and non-sequentially. The Ame that's streaming from day to day is not necessarily doing it from the present; it could be an Ame from the past or an Ame from the future. In order for Ame to be there for more of Gura's life she has to constantly skip forward months if not years or Gura will quickly outlive her.

@@tinfoil6971 Sort of. I think after the first two or 3 videos in this series I counted their appearances and made the tier you see here. Then it's just copy and paste from previous video and place each name up everytime one of them appears or add to the bottom tier. It's just a case of keeping track of the names and not to leave repeats that's the tricky part.

The animation with Gura & Ame hits especially hard if you know how familiar Ame actually is with heavy loss. There's a clip of her sharing a little bit of her life story that's super emotional and also hits the same themes about life & success that the other clip did as well. Definitely worth your time to check out if you want to feel some more feels.

Edit; Nagz, the animation on the end is one of the best and most beautiful drawn animations of AmeSame where the animator has nailed down the feelings and the reactions of both Ame and Gura. And the fact you can feel it through something like this, says a lot of the talent that goes to the animation.
Its no shame to cry to it, lord knows that i tear up everytime i see it. Its amazing and beautiful work.
One thing you TH-cam gang peeps will never know was how hard we had to work to get him to react to the amesame animation. He originally thought it was official and thus DMCA, and it took chat nearly a solid 3 minutes of yelling at him for him to understand that it wasn’t and he could react to it. The no description, channel, and title bug didn’t help either.
I was just on Myxo's channel after seeing the animation they released for Christmas, didn't scroll far enough through their videos to find that one, very nice
I think, to this day, Rushia running excited trough her apartment, because she grabbed herself her favourite beverage while yelling "Cola! COOOOOOLA!" and then falls, is simultaneously the funniest and saddest thing I know xD

The cruelity of life by Yashiro. He didn't even mention about failure, stress and depression yet of how you wanted to live you dream but you realize that not every dream can be achieved. Just live your life and making sure that nothing beats over your happiness because job, title, money can't guarantee you will be happy in life.

19:00 so true I didn't have a goal in particular I had just graduated high-school and a month or 2 in Walmart as a maintenance.
I was pretty introverted and timid back then and 2 army guys walked and 1 of them came up to me while I was sweeping the store and gave me an opportunity and ask for my number any I was kinda scared and refused to atleast give them my number.
I still work for Walmart 6yrs later and it does have it's perks but now I'm still mostly introverted but I can handle ppl alot better but I still wonder to this day what if I took em up on their offer and didn't realize how lucky I was to get an opportunity so soon after getting my 1st job.
I had pretty much the same thing that happened with Mumei happen to me with a broken finger. Not fun, do not recommend.

I once woke up when I had an appendix operation in the middle of it but i coudn't see anything because there was a curtain between me and the doctor, so I just felt his hands inside of my stomach but I didn't felt pain so I fell asleep again

They've got excellent tracking / mocap systems must be very high bandwidth and god known how many GHz in order to process live interactive action without glitches or at least just a few glitches

13:43 This happened to me when I was 9 years old, I had broken my left arm pretty badly, the ulna was completely fractured in half and the radius was hanging on by a thread of bone. They put me to sleep to reset the bones and I woke up while they were doing it. The pain was so bad I passed back out, but I still remember it vividly.

I had to get my ingrown toenails removed through surgery... the local anesthetic didnt work on half my right toe, and didnt work at all on my left toe.
I could feel them scraping the nail bed and skin away with a scalpel. I now have mild PTSD from going through essentially a medieval torture method, and it gets triggered when I see a doctor in scrubs, a hospital, or hear details about surgery

Good news Nags! Even if you wake in the middle of procedure, the anesthesia takes quite a few minutes to wear off even after regaining consciousness. Your brain can't process what's happening nor can it comprehend pain. The medical working on you would typically notice that the anesthesia is wearing off before you wake up as they are actively looking for that. So seriously, there's no need to fret over that.

Uhm Nagz, it's far worse. This has happened to people in the past, however they would still be paralyzed. So they wouldn't be able to open their eyes or scream in pain. The surgeons think everything is fine, meanwhile you feel everything that is happening to you during the operation.
Luckily nowadays they monitor the patient closely to make sure the patient is still out cold. Don't believe it happens anymore.

Second the chasing your dreams comment. Don't get so caught up chasing a dream that you miss out on something better. Dreams can change without you realizing it, and sometimes the reality of the dream you are chasing isn't what you really want. I was certain I was going to be a librarian all the way through college. Turns out, the library position I dreamed of doesn't exist (maybe never did) and even if it did, I would have been an ill fit for it. But, all the learning I did to become a librarian left me with just enough credentials to get into a provisional teaching position at a small private school. 4 years later, I'm working a job I legitimately get exited to go to most days, I'm about to get my full 5 year teaching certification, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. Chase your dreams, but don't be blinded by them.

That what you said about youtubers remindse of a gaming channel I used to enjoy. Grew out of it but the guy running the channel was genuinly funny and interesting. I checked a few weeks ago out of curiosity and he still has around the same subscriber count as like 5 years ago and only plays Pokemon go nowadays. Kinda sad but I'm glad he's having fun I guess.
