I actually really liked Chris, he did his best and wasn’t as rude as the girl. He also admited it was really fun being there like going to church or playing fotball with kids

It's incredibly possible for marijuana to cause aggressive behavior. It's the same as alcohol. Some loosen up and laugh and others can get incredibly abusive. Depends on the person.

Brought my tears of joy when Chris wanted to stay in church and experience the joy and celebration. Too many people, especially teens are disillusioned about what church is really about, and miss out on community and deep appreciation of life. I didn't agree with how they used force, but it is South Africa where physical touch is part of communication.
People are being to obsessive with religions, some don't even know most are made up religions to control people and keep the tides coming in!!
There are other things you can do with awesome communities than going to church. I'd recommend doing these not church.
Not everyone can be handled with kid's gloves, better to use force and they turn out well than be soft and using only words which obviously hasn't worked for 17years. The bigger picture is who these children turn out later to be in the society, you don't want the govt taking your own taxpayer money to correct adults when the problem could have been nipped in the bud when they were younger.
That's definitely the motivation that strict families feel when words haven't worked in the past!

I wonder how kids are allowed to grow into teenagers without learning how to do chores, help around the house cook food that they will equally eat sounds and looks absurd to me. Maybe because I'm an African. The earlier you learn these skills the better for you.

Sat watching with this silly smile on my face at about 30 minutes in. Chris really transformed and Im really proud of him. You could see he was in his element playing rugby with the other boys.
I loved that the adults and their family tolerated the two teens. They were so nice, and they just kept on trying and trying.

Everyone is different and im speaking from my own life. I could never give up on any of my family members. I feel like I'm the parent when it comes to my relationship with my mom sometimes.I always answer the phone for her. Tell her I love her and try to be as compassionate as I can. I know with my own daughter, she's only 9, but I hope and pray she will always come to me with any problem and we'll figure out how to fix it.
