    I am very anti-smoking, but so many of these parents expect the children to quit smoking cold turkey as soon as they get there.
    That's not reasonable. Smoking is an addiction.

      @@georgedowns4034 it's a social thing. Your mates start smoking so you start too, either out of curiosity or wanting to be part of the group. Also people think "I'll just have one smoke" and they keep having "just one smoke" and before they know it they're addicted. Also some people feel awkward standing still so smoking gives them something physical to do

    Mom and Dad are in perfect unison here. Their approach was excellent all the way through: they did not engage in certain power struggles when the outcome was apparent and were able to hold back sufficiently when necessary. THAT'S really what sets some of the couples on this show apart. They got through to them in the end but they did it without the absurdity you sometimes see.

    I’ve never seen such entitlement! These teens are an absolute disgrace and their parents are to blame for this spoiled attitude. The girl is literally a two year old throwing tantrums and the boy thinks he’s something special. They both need everything they love and value taking away from them until they learn some respect. If my daughter EVER behaved this way towards me you can guarantee it would be the last time. These teens learned quickly that their nonsense didn’t wash with these amazing parents.

    Sometimes it's about personalities. Some nice gentle parents probably don't know how to handle kids with somewhat dominating personality and they'll have those kids walking all over them like little tyrants.

    I actually feel very bad for this family because they had the best intentions and they tried and these kids were very disrespectful to them.

    Wonderful , simply wonderful . First you bring up your child to be headstrong , stubborn , arrogant and entitled and then you send same child to other people to get some sense ' knocked into him or her ' .
