- In the past few quarters Warren Buffett has been amassing a new top 10 position that is today worth over $6 billion. This investment is in Chubb (CB stock) a global insurance operation. In this video I discuss why Buffett was attracted to Chubb, thoughts on its valuation, and which insurance company I like more. At the time of this video publication I did not own any shares in Chubb, but I did own shares in Fairfax Financial (FRFHF).

He might think that Chubb has better risk diversification than Fairfax and is better managed.
He's thinking long term of course and as you say interest rates on cash and cash equivalents are better now. Also who knows more about running an Insurance company than Warren Buffett?

tesla can barely take bite out of the car insurance segment. they also have no plans to compete with chub in all the other segments mentioned (life insurance, homewners, commercial property, etc).
@@AD-vo7pq I can see you have not attended class and we'll have to hold you back a year. Now go in the corner and read about cars that use neuralnet and have a brain of their own . Then write a twenty page report how this will usher in the fourth industrial revolution along with embodied AI
