This design has serious Transformers Decepticon vibe. I easily imagine truck and car transform seperately as evil robot siblings.
One of the two go karts match these colors as well. The other one has full on Bumblebee colors.

Over-Cab flatbed truck matched with the same livery as the race car is carrying is very common in the Japanese drift scene. Looks like an homage to that, much more than to the European Semi racing trucks.
I'm absolutely in love with this year's CITY wave. There are so many smaller, affordable sets with really high value and great styling.
I heard this called the Mr. Beast vehicles and now I can’t unsee it.

Definitely looks like there's so much room for MOCs with the pieces provided here!! Loving this set, at least judging from the video. Also 6 wide is my favorite scale for cars.
I love this set! The transporter is formidable! The entire design style for both is amazing! Compliments to the designer. I'll definitely be looking to get one of these at some point!
This has a very Bosozuko "Lite" feel to the design. Very 80"s feeling.
I also like that it is picking up on the popularity of the HotWheels Haulers premium sets. I hope this sells well, because i would like to see this concept passed up to Speed Champions.
It would be awesome if they had speed champions compatible stuff with this style
Surprised the car uses stickers for the design on the side, I initially thought it was just four teal 1x1 quater circle tiles on a pink plate.
The whole setup looks so extremly radical, but the truck driver is like, "Meh. My grandpa's hat will due."
I think this kind of loading truck and race car set has potential. Just like hotwheels.
Great set that is going to work well with modular garage from last year.
For $30 I feel the teal sides of the trunk and car should be prints. The colors are great and the prints look decent for a change!

Anyone else have the Miami Vice Theme running through their head? I like the use of the pyramid pieces to hold the car on the truck, it is simple, but seems to work well. Thanks for sharing!

Lego is very strong with its sets this year. This one is another great set, just as the whole Space line and allot of City sets. In my humbke opinion ofcourse. 😊

The fast back of the car is really nice. I like the “Miami vice” feel of the color scheme. The truck is sick I love how low it sits. The roll off bed is nice and the stacks I am indexed with the shape and look of the smoke stacks. Very cool build. Well done mate.
Glad it could be 100% build without stickers. I really like putting stickers on the Speed Champions but that one will certainly more appealing to me without any, maybe I will get it !
Yeah, I love this thing. I wanted it as soon as I saw it. It's a great companion set to the City 60389 Custom Car Garage that was released last year. Even the color scheme matches one of the cars in that set! More of this please!
These colors were used for everything in the late 80s/90s from roller skates to tennisballs,even transformer toys of G2 had these colors. Only need the green and yellow now for a race car 😂
The male figure somehow looks to me very much like Colin Farrell in The Gentleman ?
Normally when I buy lego city sets it's either because I could revamp it like i did recently with the new monster truck for the batman villain bane by making it black with bits of red and green and giving it missiles and a 6 barrel machine gun on the back tho sometimes I get city sets because they are genuinely cool to me
6 wide speed champs are my go-to sets to make Batman villan cars. 😂
I just picked up this set yesterday because of your review. Next to it on the shelf was the go kart set. Had to grab that too. I didn’t realise that one of the go karts has the same racing team colours. After building both sets, the go kart works perfectly on the truck bed too!!
Fantastic sets for the money.
It's a shame they couldn't have the neon style writing on the wheels of the car too. I think that would have made the car even better looking.

Car actually looks a lot better roofless, you could stick a smooth plank over the windshield and with that back window vent it kinda looks like an old eighties/nineties Camaro. Maybe give it a T-top somehow, even better.

First time I have seen those triangle elements on the sides of the trucks cab either side.
Looks like a good pairing with the 60389 Custom Car Garage. If they had made it compatible with the clip front and rear end pieces this would be out of the park!

I think this is the set that’s made me the saddest. I’d love to pick this up! It’s a good car, a good truck, a non-demanding price point, but I’m finally at my limit, and need to stop getting Lego sets I don’t have space for and unfortunately this is where I have to draw that line. I would’ve gotten this even a year ago with no issue, but now… I dunno. It’s depressing to hit that realization that you have to draw the line somewhere, and see in a single moment where that line is drawn.
Definitely very 80s with the louvres on the back of the car instead of a window, reminds me of the DeLorean in a way.
Both vehicles look great, and I really do like the truck design; it looks really beefy and having a loading bed is cool.
I'm not sure if I'll get this; there's nothing wrong with it and the price is perfectly fine. It's just that it's a very competitive line up of sets in this price range this year; I'll shortlist this and keep my eye on it though.

I just bought two of these sets today (from writing this comment) as I found a moc on rebrickable that converts it into a speed champion size

I am a fan of the design of these new vehicles… last year too. But am I the only one that misses the license plates, with the set numbers on them? 😢 my city vehicle collection consists of nothing but those. I’d (personally) be really disappointed if we’ve seen the last of those!!!
The truck reminds me a bit of the hot Wheels Raijin Express.
Disappointing the car doesn't have the modular front and rear like the custom garage.

Personally I'm not a fan of the fronts of these vehicles, so I won't be getting them.
Looks like they are using the same car windows as the ones I played with in the early 90s. Looks very outdated. Nice colors though.
The build is great but the colours don't work for me. I wish LEGO would offer this set in alternative colours, like they sometimes do in the Creator line. I feel like it would be worth a try for them because I remember being very particular about the colours of my Matchbox or Burago cars as a kid.
