I had turned 44 the day before. What a birthday present it would be to watch this great show by the fabulous Elton John. Today, 19 years later, I can watch it peacefully at home on my Motorola smartphone. Elton will always be among us, even after a long time. ✨🌟 🇧🇷
The very best period of EJ concerts. He and the band played pretty much two albums then still did the hits. The stamina is amazing. Would love to see some shows like this after the Farewell Greatest Hits tour.
It's a shame he did this show only in America because I would have loved to have gone to this being an Elton fan. But I did hear somewhere that he might do in the future do a residency a bit like Kate Bush did a Hammersmith. Another type of shows would be where he would play songs that he would like to play but never had the chance to because when he was on tour he was saying you have to play all the hits but when he does a residency he can play songs that he's always wanted to play live but never had the chance album favorites rarities and even play a full album in full. X
@@89awcockI'd love to see that, and I suppose elton wouldn't be restrained with having to Jusy play the hits ans could probably change his setlist every night

Thanks for this.... My memory of him from this weekend is etched forever in my mind. It was a dream come true after so many years. I thought the memories were lost forever
Hopefully one day whoever is in charge of Elton's content grabs a brain and releases concerts such as this one in high quality. They released "We All Fall in Love Sometimes"/"Curtains" years ago and I'm pretty sure they have the entire concert sitting in the vaults somewhere. For long-time fans such as myself I'd rather see concerts released than compilation sets that cost $150!
I could've sworn there were more songs than this. He did Mona Lisa's and mad hatters that night too and sooooo many more. Was there a day before this... I saw one of them that weekend. It was Saturday. He'd been in DC the night before and cut it short so he made up for it with us. He also did candle in the wind.
@@dianaluzsanyi7172 I can't message you here but I remember you from McDonald's in Point Pleasant! I worked during the week with you in the day times. You and Kelly and Fran. I'm trying not to dox anyone.
In this time, he is my favorite vocal elton ❤

Genious talented piano performer.I love all his music❤❤❤❤❤❤
Elton John é fantástico eu adoro esse cantor.
was blessed to be there that night with my young brother and uncle
I was there that night! It was amazing. I was in the skybox
Thanks for this.... My memory of him from this weekend is etched forever in my mind. It was a dream come true after so many years. I thought the memories were lost forever
I absolutely love the Captain Fantastic stuff here
I was at that show and actually got his autograph that night . I went the night before too. Great memories
I love unconditionally Peachtree road. Its strange that in final tour there were no songs from ptr
Not really. His later stuff, like of all popular artists, isn't going to pull crowds.

Tem vídeos com 1 ou 2 músicas, apenas, e a gente fica com vontade de ver o show inteiro. ☹
Thanks for the upload! I've been trying to find a live recording of Bitter Fingers for a while.

2:30:46 GODLIKE version of Sad Songs 😍
Não consigo entender porque uma apresentação maravilhosa como esta não foi filmada e gravada de forma profissional. Fico revoltada!!!
His music in 96-2005 had a certain sound. Like songs from the big picture, and the one porch swing in tupelo is from, gave the same rhythm kinda.
One of the best set lists ever. Shame they couldn't do Tower of Babel or Writing but I guess they are very difficult to sing.
Would be strange to hear in a lower key for these two songs
😊😊😊😊

no he didn't, those werent on that tour
I was there. We had the tracklisting. Only Crocodile Rock was a surprise song. Mona Lisa was not on it
He was in Boston prior to this show. He did the same set there.

i love you lol
3:12:29 It's moments like those that destroyed what was left of his voice in '05.
Considering he's sounded better the last 2 years than he did for a majority of this show, I doubt it
@Bruh-dv3tl?
00:42:05 wtfff that sounds like him in 1993
Camera guy 😊, works like me
I'm in the beginning but he thanks Jim steinmann later on who is there
