The Sims 2 had better babies in my opinion. They look super cute and are so sweet. sims 3 babies were stuck in that blanket and we couldn't bathe them or have that cute changing table interaction. Sims 4 babies look like objects, act like objects, and feel like objects. The babies look lifeless and creepy, plus we can't separate them from that crib! So...sims 2 babies 5/5
I love how everybody starts freaking out when a sim is giving birth in the sims 3, it makes the actual birth feel meaningful! On that note, i absolutely love having alien babies in the sims 2 (the little plumbob coming out of the bigger plumbob in the cutscene is just so cute)

Sims 2 when it comes to having a baby because for one the baby isnt stuck in an ugly blanket making them look like a maggot and not bound to a baby bin with limited interacting options. Sims 2 For Adoption as well, i miss the cinematics and how you can grab a bottle from the fridge to feed the baby
SιcĸVyвeX The Sims 3 blanket isn’t the best, but it’s good you can select the baby and find out exactly what the problem is - you have to cheat to do it in Sims 2 and the Freetime perk doesn’t help much.
Also, I noticed in the sims 2, that if you for exemple, you have a kid, a children and they take it because you wasnt a good parent, you can have it back, you just need to adopt with an other family, but the kid wont remember anything, and who was his/her real parents! ( yeah I play too much the sims 2, and I am proud of it! ^^ )
Once, when I was younger, I created a girl and gave her a child. Then I created a male I wanted her to marry. I moved him into the house next door. The kid got taken away and I made the guy adopt him/her. My plan was to marry the two sims and she could have her child back. But she didn't like him. I wish I knew boolprop testingcheats cheat back then.
sims 2 once again beats out the others, though sims 3 did well. i especially like the hospital option and the way the adopted baby is delivered in an adorable basket. sims 4 gets a point for letting you see the actual kids and pick one but it lacks humanity and the moment of connection that comes from bringing a new life into one's world. and it also loses out to the other two since there's little point to even having a family in sims 4 right now. babies are just objects and kids are pretty independent so the interactions dont feel important or necessary. sims 2 takes the trophy for being the first to give the life cycle a point and being utterly adorable and heartfelt while doing so. and of course it's comedy gold. like, it''s the Mel Brookes of simulated comedy. ...kids, ask your parents... or grandparents *sigh* who Mel Brookes is

If your mischief level is high enough you can ask a sim who is NOT pregnant this question. Sims who are doctors (with a high enough level) can predict the baby's gender.

I was originally planing on just childhood and part 3 would be adulthood starting with teenagers but seeing how long it gets I don't know if it'd be better to split it. Tell me what you'd prefer :)
tbh, sims 3 is like the closest to perfection, like i have the sims 4 but i only play like 30 - 40 mins maximum before getting bored and closing it, but i can play the sims 3 for hours literally, it’s so much fun and theres tons of stuff that you can do, even without mods, the sims look pretty good to me.

It is possible to have triplets in the Sims 2, I’ve had them once and I don’t use mods or cheats in the sims 2. It is also possible that is was a bug though.
The place where they're born DOES effect something in the Sims 3. If I'm remembering correctly, the relationship between the child and the mother will be higher if it is born at home than if it is born at a hospital.
There's one thing I like the sims 3 when my sims goes into labor everyone in the area freaks out I remember one time my sim was at some place I think it was a adopting place or some crap and she went into labor and there was a kid in there that kid freaks out to loudest his scream got me in pieces wish the sims 4 had that
Actually, in Sims 3, having the baby in different places DOES affect something. Having the baby in the hospital will result in a lower relationship level than if you had the baby at the house. Same for Sims 4.
Once one of my Sims had twins, and it was so stressful the entire time they were toddlers. Plus there was the fact that there were already two kids in the house. And the house was designed for less than 4 Sims, and there were 6. Chaos ensued.
I remember how in the Sims 3 whenever my Sims toddler was hungry or something the toddler wasn't able to go down the stairs so my sim had to stop whatever they were doing to bring the child downstairs, except once they got where the child was they would get stuck in place and whenever i told them to pick up the kid they wouldn't and I was so pissed.
I very much like how you have to take a pregnancy test in the Sims 4, because it makes it a bit more involved I feel. I also like how in TS4 you may breastfeed your children! However, the fact that the child is stuck to only the bassinet until it ages into a toddler is so annoying. The Sims 3 is the game that I played the most, but I still remember the Sims 2 and how the babies acted in that game. TS2 is by far my favorite and I badly wish I still had the games!

In The Sims 4, you can also check if a Sim is Pregnant, after a few hours. if a Sim is not suffering from a Nausea Moodlet that comes with Get to Work (Illness Symptoms), you can click on a Toilet. along with Take Pregnancy Test, "Throw Up" will appear. as a rule of thumb. this usually means your sim is Definitely Pregnant (as well as the obvious accelerated Motive loss)

in my opinion sims 2 is the best game, the only bad thing about it is the graphics but i also kind of like how they make the sims characters also i love the cutscenes i wish sims 2 and sims 4 be combined in sims 5

It is possible to have triplets in the Sims 2, I’ve had them once and I don’t use mods or cheats in the sims 2. It is also possible that is was a bug though.

The place where they're born DOES effect something in the Sims 3. If I'm remembering correctly, the relationship between the child and the mother will be higher if it is born at home than if it is born at a hospital.

Actually, in Sims 3, having the baby in different places DOES affect something. Having the baby in the hospital will result in a lower relationship level than if you had the baby at the house. Same for Sims 4.

Once one of my Sims had twins, and it was so stressful the entire time they were toddlers. Plus there was the fact that there were already two kids in the house. And the house was designed for less than 4 Sims, and there were 6. Chaos ensued.

I remember how in the Sims 3 whenever my Sims toddler was hungry or something the toddler wasn't able to go down the stairs so my sim had to stop whatever they were doing to bring the child downstairs, except once they got where the child was they would get stuck in place and whenever i told them to pick up the kid they wouldn't and I was so pissed.

I very much like how you have to take a pregnancy test in the Sims 4, because it makes it a bit more involved I feel. I also like how in TS4 you may breastfeed your children! However, the fact that the child is stuck to only the bassinet until it ages into a toddler is so annoying. The Sims 3 is the game that I played the most, but I still remember the Sims 2 and how the babies acted in that game. TS2 is by far my favorite and I badly wish I still had the games!

In the sims 1 the basegame's tiny neighborhoods are replaced with The Sims 1 Unleashed's biggest neighborhoods, in the sims 3 the basegame's tiny firetruck is replaced with The Sims 3 Ambitions' firetruck and the basegame's old phone is replaced with The Sims 3 University Life's smartphone and in the sims 4 the basegame's hospital rabbithole is replaced with The Sims 4 Get To Work's hospital

In The Sims 4, you can also check if a Sim is Pregnant, after a few hours. if a Sim is not suffering from a Nausea Moodlet that comes with Get to Work (Illness Symptoms), you can click on a Toilet. along with Take Pregnancy Test, "Throw Up" will appear. as a rule of thumb. this usually means your sim is Definitely Pregnant (as well as the obvious accelerated Motive loss)
