Saltatio Mortis (which is latin and means dance of death) is a great band by itself, they are around over 20 years and playing folk metal with instruments like Bagpipes, Hurdygurdy or violin, all combined with metal. Most of their songs are in german, because they are a German band like EC but they also have some english songs. I highly recommend songs like Pray for the hunted, My mother told me or the coop mit Lara Loft Dragonborn comes.from the Skyrim Universe. Give it a shot, they are worthy to go down the rabbit hole, I'm a fan since ages. ;)
If you like the style (folk and medieval metal is mainly found in Germany, Switzerland and Austria) then you should definitely check out the most famous german band "FEUERSCHWANZ". They do great covers with other artists ("Warriors of the world", "DING") but also have a lot of excellent own songs like "Metfest", "Untod im Drachenboot", "Knochenkarussel", "Ultima Nocte" etc.
Imagine trying to keep a straight face when these 2 idiots walk in and take a perfectly normal video and infest it with the madness of EC, These Hypa Hypa cover videos are all insane in the greatest possible way

Of this line-up, only singer Jörg Roth alias Alea der Bescheidene and hurdy-gurdy player Gunter Kopf alias Falk Irmenfried von Hasen-Mümmelstein remain. They produced their first album to pay for their travel expenses to Sweden by selling them there. They quickly realized that you could earn more with albums than on the street and quickly produced a second one. In 2013 they reached number 1 in the German album charts for the first time, which they repeated three more times. Politically, they have repeatedly advocated for left-wing issues. This cover was created through their collaboration with the game producer Bethesda: Saltatio Mortis feat. Lara Loft - The Dragonborn Comes (From "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim") This song is based on an old Norwegian song and is mostly sung in Old Norse.
