And the "serious" parasite and mindreader. And Pizza homicide from Samurai Pizza Cats feat. Niko from elektric Callboy, the seven Versions of hypa hypa and Castrop x Spandau with Kalle and, and, and....
the name "Hypa Hypa" is a reference to "Hyper Hyper" a german edm classic by Scooter. There are seven Hypa Hypa covers which EC made in collaboration with various german artists during the pandemic. You should check some of them out. My personal favorites are by Saltatio Mortis and We Butter The Bread With Butter (WBTBWB) Welcome aboard this Tekkno Train ride, guys! Looking forward to more EC reactions!
WBTBWB themselves had an album "Das Album" which was entirely complete fire. That's just two dudes. The WBTBWB Hypa Hypa is a great gateway over to them.
Oh guys, i only discovered EC a few days ago myself. Havent been able to stop listening to them since and i just bought myself a weekend ticket to Download Festival, UK specifically to see them. Its going to be wild 😜! Definitely check out Teckno Train next.
Now you've seen this one, check out the 'We Butter The Bread With Butter Vs Electric Callboy' version of this...... It is 'different' but you will definitely love it. Once you've done that - Tekkno Train, Pump It, Spaceman, MC Thunder II (Dancing Like A Ninja), Everytime We Touch and Castrop X Spandau by Electric Callboy and Kalle Kochinsky (the guy in the middle of the 'dancers' on this one - who is also in a few other EC videos, including Arrow Of Love), in any order you want. You will not be disappointed.....(unlike some of those on the Tekkno Train when it arrives a bit early....). 😃
Loved your reaction video 🫶🏼 You should definitely go and see them live! Their live concerts are absolutely amazing and you‘ll have the time of your life. Have been to three concerts in Europe so far (Oberhausen, Basel, Stuttgart) and everytime the fans almost tore the concert hall down because we all partied so hard. Besides bringing so much fun they are amazing musicians, check out mindreader for example. Can‘t wait for their new album.
"We got the moves" is their anthem, but the insanity that we witness in "Hypa Hypa" is totally incomparable 🤣 And they are amazing live! I've just been with my two teenage sons to their concert few weeks ago, we had wigs and moustaches, the concert was such a wild party that even Rammstein concert in feuerzone was topped by this amazing experience ❤I've never seen so many cheerful people at one place! I'm definitely going to their concert - this time I had to drive through two countries to get there, but it was definitely worth it! 😎 Your reaction was great, looking forward for more! You definitely need to check "Pump IT!" and "Everytime we Touch" 😍 And if you want to have a glance what their concerts look like, go see "Parasite" official video, it is amazing! Also, you definitely have to check their live recording of "We Got the Moves" from Denver, it is always their final song and the party is INSANE! 🤪 Enjoy and have a fantastic day! 😊
So much fun to watch you guys enjoying EC. We must have more ASAP! Next videos to check out... Pump It 🔥🔥🔥 Everytime We Touch (remake of 2000's dance hit by Cascada) 🔥🔥🔥 Tekkno Train Spaceman MC Thunder II (Dancing Like A Ninja) Hurrikan Castrop X Spandau (Electric Callboy and Kalle Kochinsky) They have some serious videos too, if you want to check them out. They're actually pretty fire too. Parasite (Super banger that will be stuck in your head for days) 🔥🔥🔥 Hate/Love Mindreader And for something that's easily the next best thing to EC (because it's their guitar player's side project), Samurai Pizza Cats, the song "Pizza Homicide" (feat. Nico from Electric Callboy; the blonde guy) That song is so unbelievably catchy. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love your sense of humor, I knew you would love these guys. All their songs are epic, even some amazing serious songs like “parasite “ and “mindreader” you will love everything they do. Watch their live videos on electric call boy TH-cam account, it’s such good quality and makes you feel like you’re there. Most amazing and fun band I have ever seen live
This was our Lockdown Medicine back in the days. Everyone was down and sad cause everything was closed. Then, one day, this came out and we had soo much fun again. Great times. And after that. They delivered one after another banger.
The TH-camr "Tank the Tech" reacted to Electric Callboy three years ago (to Hypa Hypa) for the first time. And now he is their tour manager! Check out his video about his experience with the band after their US Tour last year: th-cam.com/video/xgmAOMwf9wM/w-d-xo.html
If you want something more serious to show what they can do, check out Parasite. They are working on next album now and this upcoming NA tour is mostly festival dates, they had a larger run of non festival stuff last year. So you've got a little bit of time to catch up with all their songs before they drop another album on us ;)
Flew from Calgary to Seattle to take my wife to see them back in August and it was honestly one of the best shows we've been too. Guys are incredible showmen and we can't wait to see them again!
Please do Hypa Hypa Live in Cologne Lanxess Arena 2023 Tekkno Tour or (and 😉) We Got The Moves Live in Denver, CO US Tour 2023). They do have some more serious songs too, like Hate/Love (follow up single to Hypa Hypa), Mindreader, Parasite (video is made of live footage over the studio audio) or Fckboi feat. Conquer Divide (CD is an all female, US based multi national metalcore band). And for another German fun metal band, but in a completely different style, have a look at Feuerschwanz (Fire Tail, pronounced foy-air-shvantz) and their cover of ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme.
There are a lot of versions of this song out there… this is the original, but a lot of famous bands did a version of „Hypa Hypa“ together with Electric Callboy. Try Saltatio Mortis with Electric Callboy… ‼️🏆👍
They don't take themselves seriously, but they take their music seriously. They wear the costumes on stage at concerts. They have other great bangers. Many different collabs of Hypa Hypa, Techno Train, Spaceman, Pump it, Arrow of Love, Hurrikan, Fuk boi, mind reader, Their cover of Everytime we touch is a must see.
Anything after Hypa Hypa rocks. But you have to do MC Thunder 1 and 2 as a double feature. Then a few extras would be Crystals, all the Hypa Hypa versions, and any live performance.
React to Chainsaw man anime opening and ending songs ( th-cam.com/video/dFlDRhvM4L0/w-d-xo.html ). All songs except "ending #3" have a full version of the song. I feel that you will be surprised by some and come to learn that anime isn't just for kids.
I told you…. This is addicting 🔥 THESE GUYS ARE GENIUS Every time live…. They deliver 🤘🏻 Their musical ability is insane but they just know how to be fun/funny and that’s what makes this
There are few things more satisfying then watching a pair of reactor’s discovering EC for the first time, and then you know that you’ll have the pleasure of watching them go through the whole catalogue of awesome songs. Can’t wait for “Pump It” or “Techno Train” 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻
Was waiting on another electric Callboy reaction. Just saw your First one Yesterday. Always Love seeing people enjoying These Guys. They are awesome! You should have a Look at "hurrikan" and the Cover of "everytime we Touch" both are such good reaction videos❤
You guys should research how many time this song was covered. I'm not talking about 1 years after but literally right after. The song is so catchy in many style
Love the Viking version of this song’ during “life is ending” period of time- they made so many versions with other artists - But their Vlogs and live videos are amazing!
Did you guys know there is an entire album dedicated to this one song where lots of different artists have done their own covers and different versions. They're fantastic 🤣
Hey the original is "Hyper, Hyper" by a german Techno dude called "Scooter". Also....interesting to watch 😂 I also suggest you watch "Bonavega - Ladyman" He rocks differently 🎉
You really have to watch "Pump it", "Spaceman", "Tekkno Train", "Arrow of Love", "Every time we touch" and "Kalle Koshinsky - Castrop x Spandau feat. Electric Callboy" too...
Fun fact about Electric Callboy: The drummer, David Friedrich, won the German version of The Bachelorette in 2017. They aren't together anymore, though.
Go on, you´ll love it! My suggestions for each categorie would be: "Tekkno Train" (regular EC stuff) "Everytime we touch" (great Cover Version) "Castrop X Spandau" (one day project) "Mindreader" (more serious) "MC Thunder II" (older style with former singer)
You're one of my favorite new reaction channels. So authentic and likeable! I haven't looked through your whole portfolio of videos yet, but here's my list of suggestions: - Bloodywood - Ari Ari (if you like it, after that, react to "Dana Dan" and "Aaj" by them) - Maximum the Hormone - Yoshu Fukushu (if you like it, after that, try "Hungry Pride" and their festival recording of "Koi no Sperm" by them - th-cam.com/video/AUeRiPyjFH4/w-d-xo.html because it's hard to find) - Igorrr - Downgrade Desert (if you like it, give "Himalaya Massive Ritual", "Cheval" and "ieuD") a shot. - Knorkator - Absolution (LIVE @ Summer Breeze Open Air 2015) - We butter the bread with butter - 20 kmh - Alien Weaponry - Kai Tangata - Ningen Isu - Heartless Scat - Jinjer - Pisces (if you like that, check Judgement (& Punishment) One Take Vocal Performance and Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019) - Ren: "Hi Ren" (if you like that, check "Sick Boi" and the trilogy "Jenny's Tale", "Screech's Tale" and "Violet's Tale" (in that order)) completely different side of him, watch his duets with Chinchilla: "Chalk Outlines" and "How to be me" - You seemed to like Electric Callboy, so my next song recommendation in the spirit of "We Got the Moves" and "Hypa Hypa" is "Pump It". If you then want to see a different, similarly amazing facet, watch "Parasite" and "Mindreader" - If you liked "Hypa Hypa", there's remakes of that song by Saltato Mortatis, We butter the bread with butter and a few others, and the music videos for those are hilarious
Perhaps also check the Aussie band Twelve Foot Ninja (title of the song: One Hand Killing). They started this Fun & Heavy stuff much earlier than the Electric Callboy
There is a movie from the Netherlands called "New KIdz". This music video was inspired by this movie "New Kidz". And if you wanna join the Electric Callboy army, you need to go to Germany. 🤣🤪
I love how they slowly blend the genres together. It starts electronic, hits metal, next blends them some, then it's all together in the end. So much fun and their live shows are a big party
ECB are from Germany, many of the their after show videos and 'Making of' are part English and part German. They also have a couple of more serious tracks: Parasite and Mindreader, which are also brilliant (IMO). But for more fun tracks (and videos) Tekkno Train, Pump It, Arrow of Love, We Got the Moves, and a cover song, Everytime We Touch to name a few. They do have quite a few live videos as well - they are pretty good live ... full energy, and pretty true to the originals - they often dress up in the video outfits!!! TWA⚡UK
The "cursed" song... in a parallel universe we won the ESC 2022 with it (Eurovision Song Contest ) but in this reality, our TV station "banned" this song... still one of the coolest and greastest song pieces German has made. ;)
Dudes, you think Electric Callboy is fun, you should check out their side project "samurai Pizza Cats" tou will never look at pineapple on pizza the same way 😂
Now we have two new members to the EC Family 😊 loved your reaction, EC never disappoints with their music and videos but they are live equaly awesome. I saw them live in Nürnberg a few weeks ago and ha dthe chance to meet them at their tekkno live movie premiere in Essen last week. They are not just freakn talented but also such humble and down to earth people. ❤ You should go down this rabbit hole for sure. Also not just party core metall to discover from these guys. Songs like Mindreader, Parasite, Hate/love or Crystals (with the old singer Sushi) are absolute bangers too. I highly recomment to react to some acoustic stuff from them too (Prism for example) . But if you want to ride along the party road at first I recomment Pump It, Tekkno Train, Spaceman and Everytime we touch next. Have fun! 🎉
🤣 You should really see them live. It´s not a concert, rather one big party with thousands of friends.🤩🥳🤘 Since they´ve got a few songs where they sing in German I´m always happy that most Germans speak or at least understand English as well. So we can sing along in both languages.🤗 But their sound is international 😅.
There are 7 different Versions from various Artists for Hypa Hypa, u should see the Boss Hoss Version. They also sometimes watch reactions to their Videos and react to it bei themselfs. There are some hidden Eastereggs to find, like "licking the bush" in we got the moves Video and so on. If you like German Music u should try to react to Seeed, Dancehall, Dubstep, Rap Music, they also got some english Videos
I wanted to quote a comment I saw on another reaction because I've not seen a better breakdown of the culture of the video anywhere else and it really brings some very nice context. Full credit to @TrangleC for sharing this info. "The aesthetics of the video are impossible to really understand for people who know nothing about Germany in the 90s. Back in the late 80s and early 90s the German coal and steel industries went belly up and hundreds of thousands of working class dudes who had thought they would be working in those industries like their fathers and grandfathers had, found themselves without much perspective. That kind of created a whole generation of "peaked in high school"-type dudes who couldn't let go of their youth in the 80s and were still running around like that (mullets, handlebar mustaches aso.) till way into the 90s, long after that had stopped being fashionable. So in the 90s (when the guys in that band were kids) you had all those 30 to 40 year old, beer guzzling working class blokes hanging around techno rave parties and dance clubs, looking like time travelers from the 80s and trying to pick up chicks half their age. That is what this song and the video are making fun of and that is why it makes sense that the video mixes tropes from the 80s and 90s (Boy Band music, techno, aso.) and why the dudes look like from the 80s while the chick looks like a 90s raver girl."
they are long vids but worth the watch, tankthetech is a youtuber/mini reactor and he is apart of electric callboys staff for their tour. He has some vlogs on the tour its AWEOMSE to see what happens in the back and how cool the band is. If you dont wanna react to those long vids, atleast watch them on your own time.
Pump it next!!! So happy to see more people exposed to and loving Electric Callboy!
They don't take themselves seriously but they take what they do seriously!
god dam it why'd i never think of them that way, absolute legends.
Such sights too see! Pump It, Spaceman, Arrow of Love, Everytime We Touch. For a very special treat Hurrikan!
Don't forget Tekkno Train
MC Thunder and MC Thunder Part II
Hurrikan, simultaneously the goofiest and hardest song in their catalog LMAO 🤘🔥
And the "serious" parasite and mindreader. And Pizza homicide from Samurai Pizza Cats feat. Niko from elektric Callboy, the seven Versions of hypa hypa and Castrop x Spandau with Kalle and, and, and....
Definitely Hurrikan!!

Don’t miss their collab with Kalle Koschinsky called Castrop x Spandau!

EHRE ALLE EHRE ALLE CASTROP SPANDAU 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This band treats all the people who work with them and for them like band members.
And btw everything you see, they do themselves and with friends.
These guys are just FUN. Great musicians, phenomenal performers, and just a good, fun vibe. Do all their hits, you will not be disappointed
The BEST live though! The entire crowd knows every song. And I've never been more sweaty at a concert. Gotta go!
Oh guys, i only discovered EC a few days ago myself. Havent been able to stop listening to them since and i just bought myself a weekend ticket to Download Festival, UK specifically to see them. Its going to be wild 😜! Definitely check out Teckno Train next.
WE DON'T NEED A NAME. WE SHOW UP AND WE HAVE FUN. Nuff said.
I agree 100 % 🎉
Now you've seen this one, check out the 'We Butter The Bread With Butter Vs Electric Callboy' version of this...... It is 'different' but you will definitely love it. The drummer is particularly good with his weird movements.
Summons beats from the sky like Thor.
This was our Lockdown Medicine back in the days. Everyone was down and sad cause everything was closed. Then, one day, this came out and we had soo much fun again. Great times. And after that. They delivered one after another banger.

That's what great about this band. They are so unserious but are VERY serious about the quality of music they put out.
If you want something more serious to show what they can do, check out Parasite.
They are working on next album now and this upcoming NA tour is mostly festival dates, they had a larger run of non festival stuff last year. So you've got a little bit of time to catch up with all their songs before they drop another album on us ;)

They do have some more serious songs too, like Hate/Love (follow up single to Hypa Hypa), Mindreader, Parasite (video is made of live footage over the studio audio) or Fckboi feat. Conquer Divide (CD is an all female, US based multi national metalcore band).

They made with their friends album with different covers of that song. I recommend hardcore WBTBWB version to check ;)
Dudes, you think Electric Callboy is fun, you should check out their side project "samurai Pizza Cats" tou will never look at pineapple on pizza the same way 😂
Even when there is the "Hypa Hypa" video running...i can't take my eyes off of Matt. 🤩✌
It´s not a concert, rather one big party with thousands of friends.🤩🥳🤘
Since they´ve got a few songs where they sing in German I´m always happy that most Germans speak or at least understand English as well. So we can sing along in both languages.🤗
But their sound is international 😅.
There's a fanclub called "Electric Escorts". Don't think it has caught on as a pack-name yet, though I like it 🤔
Enter Shikari is another band to check out. They're one of the pioneers of party/ravecore. Really unique band with a wide range of tracks.
The awesome thing about them, is that their serious stuff, is really frickin good too!!!
they are long vids but worth the watch, tankthetech is a youtuber/mini reactor and he is apart of electric callboys staff for their tour. He has some vlogs on the tour its AWEOMSE to see what happens in the back and how cool the band is. If you dont wanna react to those long vids, atleast watch them on your own time.
