Hi there, thank you very much for your reaction to Hua Hua's Mars Trilogy! Actually, he wrote another trilogy that is directly connected to this one and called the Healing Trilogy: 1st Chapter - Struggle: "I really want myself back" 2nd Chapter - Hope: "Meet when Flowers Fall" 3rd Chapter - The Future: "Let's go watch the sunrise together" Those three songs premiered at Mars Concert 2021. There are official concert music videos for each of these songs. English subtitles are available from either "Hua Chenyu English Subs" or "Experience Hua Chenyu" here on TH-cam, though I think only HCYES used the official concert music videos for their subtitles. "Meet when Flowers Fall" is one of my most beloved songs of his. I mean, it is the hope chapter of the Healing Trilogy after all. ❤ Last but not least, I'm musically illiterate, so I don't know what you call it, but you can hear "I really want to love this world" in "I really want myself back". Of course, there're many more songs of his I'd love you to react to but for now, I think the Healing Trilogy would make a lot of sense after you reacted to the Mars Trilogy. 😊 By the way, "Seven Personalities", which you already reacted to, can be seen as the '4th song' of the Mars Trilogy, subject matter-wise. In fact he always rearranges his songs during concert or TV shows. Unlike other singers who release their album or singles before a concert, he does the opposite. He will sing a new song at each stop and fans have to wait at least two to three years before they can buy them. He constantly upgrades his concert stage design and songs and has 2 formats, the Paradise Park style and stadium concerts. His stage choreography and design are done by the double Olympic team (summer and winter).There is a saying ''others make money by holding concert, whereas he makes money to hold concert.'" I love how Hua works his stages, they are so massive for a single performer, but he must walk miles each performance to ensure all the fans get a good view. I agreed. He wrote sad songs, yet I feel good listening to his songs. Another favourite singer of mine was Leonard Cohen, wrote dark lyrics but somehow it calm me down. Hua hua is a perfect artist, I can't fault him.
Today I missed the livestream, but I just watched and loved your reaction to this thrilogy, when he performed these songs live for the first time. They are so powerful, and they are part of his long mental process. He has healed and are writing new songs about other aspects of life now. Madhouse is one of my favourite songs from Hua Chenyu. This original one is like watching a madness dancing in a cage. He had done a new one, an electronic version of Madhouse May this year, which was super amazing. There are more crazy and beauty in the electronic version.

This song has a huge backstory. While working for TV show at day time in year 2021. At night he secretly rushed to hospital to take care of her cancer mother for many weeks. They communicate via gestures due to the mother only have few days to live. The last gesture of a dying mom was not her health but her own son's well being. The mother want him to live happy in the world and be physically healthy and mentally healthy. Quit music if music would stop that. I hope you will try his song "Us", he sang it once and he will never sing it again. It is absolutely worth it and I think all of us who have lived a few years can deeply connect to it. Now almost everyone in the world knows WuKong from the game Black Myth : Wu Kong. Hua Chenyu composed two songs about Wukong, one is Qi Tian official MV(“Wu Hong” movie theme song), it is amazing. Another is Great Sage Equal to Heaven, he composed it in 24 hours. Hope you could react them 💕

Illusion and reality, flower in the small town and Ship of Theseus!! Black and white artist too hehe all his originals are unpredictable, I love all of them. He is really really unique. For your info, he made three versions of flower in the small town!! Madhouse, Seven Personalities, IQ 250, bullfight…they are rearranged into electronic style 😊 And of course, I always appreciate that you guys listen to his small talks before his performances, because that really helps in understanding more of him ❤
@throga One of the most astute analysis I've heard for Hua Chenyu are his songs often show yin-yang complementary dualities. For example, in Fake Monk, he sings that he wants to be seen, but doesn't want people to know him (which, to me, sounds like he wants to be famous for an adoring crowd, but he doesn't want the crowd to get too close to him personally, as if he were their best friend, i.e., he likes the adoration but only at a distance). There are other lyrics that often have these black-white kinds of takes on things, where he's on both sides. Another lyric in Fake Monk is when he goes from south to north. Admittedly, he didn't compose that song, but it is the kind of song he often sings.
The concert goers knew the melody of "Conversations with Martian Children" because the single was released on 28 Oct 2019 on a Chinese cloud music site called NetEase while this particular concert was in mid-November 2019. The concert was supposed to be held on the first few days of November 2019 in Shenzhen but was cancelled. They changed the dates and venue to Haikou, Hainan Island 😅. Oh, and Hua Hua published the MV of this song on 29 October 2019 if I'm not wrong. Thank you for the reaction and for appreciating his work and artistry. I'll come back with a list of songs for the long-form reaction.
Strongly recommend another Trilogy from Huahua about environment protection: Saint Tree (or mystery tree), Arrival, and New World. Amazing songs. These songs can be found from the show of Singer 2020.

Thank you for doing the live trilogy of songs. It makes such a difference to hear him introduce the songs and the live versions. As to suggestions - there is a follow up trilogy. If you want to hear a more pop song where Hua Hua is just having fun then the live version of For Forever. Though I prefer live performances the MV for King and Beggar and the MV for Why Nobody Fights are worth watching. Also any of the songs from the series The Next where an amateur singer challenges a professional singer to a sing off but they also get to choose the song to be sung and the professional has 24 hrs to rearrange it - every Hua Chenyu performance in the series is brilliant.

Hua attended The Coming One season 1 and 2 , on which top tier singers are challenged by rookie singers, he had 24 hours to arrange a sone picked by his contestants, and use that song to compete against the other. He showed astonishing rearrangement skills in those episodes of the show on both seasons , so much fun to watch, and how genius he was!
Being an music fan i am not professional one but i can tell huahua has vocal skills and his music always touch me in deep he give fans positive minds most of his songs are compsoed and produced by him . And of course we always respect his partners too

I hope you will try his song "Us", he sang it once and he will never sing it again. It is absolutely worth it and I think all of us who have lived a few years can deeply connect to it. I hope you give it a chance because Hua completely broke himself open in it and that is almost impossible to see these days on our side of the world.

Now almost everyone in the world knows WuKong from the game Black Myth : Wu Kong. Hua Chenyu composed two songs about Wukong, one is Qi Tian official MV(“Wu Hong” movie theme song), it is amazing. Another is Great Sage Equal to Heaven, he composed it in 24 hours. Hope you could react them 💕

Illusion and reality, flower in the small town and Ship of Theseus!! Black and white artist too hehe all his originals are unpredictable, I love all of them. He is really really unique. For your info, he made three versions of flower in the small town!! Madhouse, Seven Personalities, IQ 250, bullfight…they are rearranged into electronic style 😊 And of course, I always appreciate that you guys listen to his small talks before his performances, because that really helps in understanding more of him ❤

@throga One of the most astute analysis I've heard for Hua Chenyu are his songs often show yin-yang complementary dualities. For example, in Fake Monk, he sings that he wants to be seen, but doesn't want people to know him (which, to me, sounds like he wants to be famous for an adoring crowd, but he doesn't want the crowd to get too close to him personally, as if he were their best friend, i.e., he likes the adoration but only at a distance). There are other lyrics that often have these black-white kinds of takes on things, where he's on both sides. Another lyric in Fake Monk is when he goes from south to north. Admittedly, he didn't compose that song, but it is the kind of song he often sings.
The concert goers knew the melody of "Conversations with Martian Children" because the single was released on 28 Oct 2019 on a Chinese cloud music site called NetEase while this particular concert was in mid-November 2019. The concert was supposed to be held on the first few days of November 2019 in Shenzhen but was cancelled. They changed the dates and venue to Haikou, Hainan Island 😅. Oh, and Hua Hua published the MV of this song on 29 October 2019 if I'm not wrong.

Thank you for doing the live trilogy of songs. It makes such a difference to hear him introduce the songs and the live versions. As to suggestions - there is a follow up trilogy. If you want to hear a more pop song where Hua Hua is just having fun then the live version of For Forever. Though I prefer live performances the MV for King and Beggar and the MV for Why Nobody Fights are worth watching. Also any of the songs from the series The Next where an amateur singer challenges a professional singer to a sing off but they also get to choose the song to be sung and the professional has 24 hrs to rearrange it - every Hua Chenyu performance in the series is brilliant.
