For newer players, try playing with wormwood. It made a huge difference for me. He’s immune from hayfeaver, the plants and vines don’t attack him, and you don’t have to worry about nettle farming.

I've played with Wormwood and now WX and I found WX way easier. Wormwood is just too disadvantaged on health regen :/ Sure you can get easy poop (& oincs) from veggies but... you could be turning those veggies into direct healing for yourself, instead! WX is fast enough to escape the plants and I found Wormwood was still attacked by snapdragons if he went too close...
Wormwood is one of the hardest characters to play
you didnt mention bug spray.. which i found to be one of the most valuable items during the crazy ass beetle season. one puff of bug smoke can delete an entire swarm of those bastards. absolutley essential.
I'd like to see a video about the next 20 days, stuff about the Aporkalypse and maybe the Pugalisk.
I mean the house has more advantages than living outside like endless light, additional storage, protection from monsters and thieves. Getting 50 oincs only takes like 15 minutes when you sell berries that you stole from the farms, peagwak feathers, grass, and picking up poop. You can also sheer the hedges and either sell the clippings or eat the clippings.

A viewer taught me a cool trick the other day. If you mine an unimportant pillar and quickly move to an adjacent room before the end of the earthquake, you can open up the suspicious cracks in those rooms. As WX you might even be able to move through two rooms before the end of the quake.

I love what you said about the Pogs "do not get attached to these bastards, they do not deserve any love" XD - I feel awful because of the sad sounds they make as you attack them, but the rage I felt after the first time I found out they make a mess of your nicely organized chest and eat whatever they can... I tried to coexist with them, but they're more trouble than help!
Tip: If you find a suspicous crack in a room that is close to a room with an unimportant pillar what you can do is mine the pillar completely to the point that it breaks you can create a cave in that lasts multiple rooms. If you can run fast enough to the room with the crack you can unlock the potential secret room. Make sure to have good health or armor or healing because these massive quakes can cause death if you arent careful (I learned that the hard way)

havent found a single guide to this game yet thats actually decent this is the first one
When i first saw the relic on the ground sorrounded by traps i picked it up and got trapped with a scorpion with a low health wickerbottom then suddenly the scorpion got stuck in the traps from dashing
I suggest focusing on making the bird whistle in the survival tab before day 3 so you get a load of flint and gems for the sprinklers before the first season even ends

WX still gets hayfever sadly. He can't be immune to everything lol

I have to say a HUGE thank you to you for this video, I'm now playing with him and it is ridiculous how much better I'm doing. The whole Hamlet game is just the same survival mechanics but crammed into a shorter time frame - so you NEED that lightning powered super speed in the early game! But oh man I ran for a whole night from a gnat cloud... XD
Yeah the gnats are the main enemies in this game haha.
Ironically, he is also the most OP character in Shipwrecked despite wetness being his main weakness.
You can shear hanging vines for rope in hamlet with shears
I’m amazed by how much they added but I don’t think I have the patience to put up with all of it lol
Pogs can't open cork barrels. Use those instead if you're struggling with the adorable getting in the way of killing them or something. XD And the BFB comes from Day 10 onwards.
I can't even make it to day 12
If you're just starting out picking a cave to live in or build your base around because you can have the bfb cave literally come to your front door but pogs won't eat anything you drop on the cave floor.

I find surviving in hamlet to be a lot easier than surviving in shipwrecked, mostly since I hate monsoon season with a passion
Sandbags are all you need for monsoon season
@@2dogg228 yeah but I’m usually the type to focus on going for high value loot so if I’m spending time gathering bamboo and sand it usually eats up most of the early game depending on my base size

I died the first time in Hamlet by getting mugged - under a street lamp? Pig guards scrounging around in the dirt to steal my coins while some two-bit theif slaps me to death. I don't think I'm cut out for civilization anymore. Send me back down to deal with frog rain.

Yeah it will take you a few tries at least to figure out what's going on. I definitely didn't play like this on my first attempt!

Didn't liked difficulty of Hamlet thus never bought it. And when I heard of introduction of apocalypses that is even worse than volcano eruption from shipwrecked. It pretty much settle. I'm not even gonna consider trying Hamlet

I find hamlet to be the easiet, is more of time consuming than hard and you can stop the aporkalypse pretty easily, also i find it to be the most enjoyable as is quite different with the pig cities and different Islands you go via ruins, you should try it or at least look more into it, it's tons of fun

oh and since 50 FREAKING OINC'S FOR ONE FREAKING ROOM IN HAMLET i spawn in 50 oinc's because im not gonna... just im not gonna do that i am not picking 50 pieces of poop or cutting 50 hedges ;-;
Rob the bank with a pan flute or one-man band. You'll make 110 oincs and 2-3 boards if you hammer down the desk as well. Destroy and rebuild the bank and do it again. Pan flute has 10 uses so you can make 1000 oincs and buy the ingredients for another pan flute when you're done :)
