    • Laborers get paid hourly and have low accountability 0:19
    • General contractors get equity, but they're also taking risk 1:20
    • Property developers pocket the profit by applying capital leverage 2:14
    • Architects, large developers and REITs are even higher in the stack 3:16
    • Real estate tech companies apply the maximum leverage 4:05

    I also wish there was a place we could learn about the actual important aspects of starting a business. Like marginal costs, cash flow, in depth concepts of equity and business related deals in terms of equity or debt, market value, overhead, what makes a product proprietary specifically and why, examples of royalty deals, etc etc.
    If I was to go major in business they would teach me a bunch of garbage that I don’t need to know, yet there is also no place to find the important knowledge

    I wish there was a place where we could learn how to go from an idea of a product, to how to patent, to how to manufacture, to how to get it into retail or how to license to another company, to how to full blown market the product. I’m extremely surprised that there is nothing out there that doesn’t teach this in full
