I am enamored of this brand, less well known in the US. I have a beloved Navygraf FSM in steel with the understated "phantom" dial requested by the submarine force. This is the most stylish watch I own!. Only 300m but my diving days are nearing the end. Excellent review of the newer superman.
Absolutely normal, it's an invention that they did for it not to break, because it did before. No worries, when screwed back everything stands firmly in place. Vostok us doing the same thing on their crowns, built to last !
Bro you should be spokesman for Yema, I love this model watch, initially I like the black dial, the blue dial until I saw the green dial and totally in love with it. The only thing holding me back is the power reserve is only 42 hrs and it says +/- 10 seconds per day which mean it can be off for several minutes in a month and that needs constant re-adjustment. What's your experience with Yema Superman Dato so far ?
thanks for the compliment 🙏. My answer, don't bother about that, the Dato is super accurate, way more than a many seiko's twice the price. If you want accuracy take a bulova quartz precision movement. But here you have an excellent movement, very accurate that you will have to reajust from time to time like any other mechanical or automatic watch. That's part of the charm I think...
In terme of casing, they wear pretty much the same, the bracelet is different on the yema so i would go with the other one like i said in the video, but honestly they are both incredibly good ! Hard to choose, i would like to own both !!!
@@thehandsontime thanks mate! I could on comment on: Baltic Auqascaphe vs Yema Flygraf M2 so far, and Yema wears quite larger than the Baltic, due to deeper case back and thicker case profile and long lugs. Superman shares most of the dimensions with Flygraf, but the case profile is definitely thinner.
Hi everyone ! One of the best Yema ever produced I think ! But what do you think ? Tell me in the comment and like and subscribe if you like what you saw to help me stay on youtube my friends ! Thanks by advance for that, cheers !
I have a Yema Superman Heritage Blue in 41mm with a SW200 movement. Great watch, but I am in love with the new 500 no date in either black or mysterious blue. 39mm this time. I have narrowed my next watch down to this one and two others I like but I keep coming back to this one. I don’t care if it has imperfections and some complain about their customer service department. The watch case and bracelet design are a 10+ to me. As long as it works within Yema’s +/-10 seconds spec I will be very happy. I have currently have a five watch rotation. I certainly do not need this watch, but it speaks to me. Does this make sense to anyone?
@thehandsontime I live in the United States. I had an issue with their in-house movement. The date was not changing. The staff was very rude and I had to call multiple times just to get the movement fixed under warranty. Finally, the last person I spoke to helped me and honored the warranty.
@@UnburdenedByWhatHasBeen ah yeah, not cool, because at the beginning they had some troubles, but now they finally "got there shit together" to use use your terms, but 10 months ago you must have felt on shitty costumers workers. That happens, but you got your watch fixed. Honestly my contacts at Yema are nice people. It's always complicated in a company, you have nice people and others that don't work well. But the important thing is that you good now. Don't base your feelings on stupidity, you know that we're surrounded on that department 😅. Be well, and thanks for sharing 👍.
French people should be proud of this brand, it should be more well knowm worldwide.
Thankyou for the nice comment ! Be well. And you right !

I love the brand and really dig the superman ! Thanks for sharing man !
Thanks for this fantastic review. I was shocked when I saw the bexel blocker lose. Is that normal?

Thank you for your quick answer! I am two inches away from pulling the trigger on the no date version. Cheers
You would be a lucky man ! Wish I had that one really....

I’ve just found your great channel. I hope you’re okay. I’ve subscribed in the hope that you do some more watch reviews. Many thanks 🙏
welcome dear !
Nice review! And how do you compare how it weares in comparison to the Batlic Aquascaphe, is any better for a small wrist?

and Flygraf is equipped with a "stiff" bracelet as well
@@pizzacoffeeman thanks for sharing that, never had the opportunity to have it in my hands !

@@trailrunnermikeWell it does to me !
Yema needs to get their shit together. Their customer service is trash. They have beautiful watches. Its a real shame.
Hi, why are you saying that ? Your comment looks like you lived something ? Here the customer service works fine...
