A very interesting way to tell the time and to think that it won such a prestigious Swiss award, fantastic! A con for me would be the apparent mismatch of features- it has a dress watch water resistance but it's been mounted on a sports strap. A dress watch needs a strap that will pair with leather dress shoes, will Rubber? Also the watch face is rather busy for it to be considered a traditional dress watch. Hmm, although this one doesn't do it for me, I'm still very much impressed. Another interesting and in-depth review 👏🏾👏🏾.

Rubber straps are now worn with suits, brands like rolex, hublot and many others are doing them, guys are even wearing apple watches with suits, things are changing but i understand you point of view. I prefer leather myself, but i made an exception with that one because it absolutely works, the strap is really made out of quality ! And this is an "art" concept charlotte, if you check out Jacob & co for example, you will see that this watch is not busy at all when we talk about this "type" of watch.Cheers...
ps: sorry for the late answer i'm in Transilvania not in Paris.

@@thehandsontime I will definitely take your word on it that the rubber strap works with a suit... I suppose at the end of the day, the quality of the material is most important. If a low quality leather strap will dampen the elegance of a dress watch then a high quality rubber strap should be able to elevate the look of a watch. I'm afraid the only art I like on a watch face is art deco 😆😆 but looking at it, I think I can agree with you that it works well. I hope your trip went well! All the watches that survived into 2023 in my collection are dress watches and I'm considering if to stick to what I know or try something out of my traditional comfort zone with my next watch choice, what are your thoughts?

@@chaca500 Hi Charlotte, thanks the trip was wonderful ! I'm back in Paris now. The "art déco" look is wonderful, i'm a fan too (Cartier Tank). So what i would suggest to you is a "GADA watch: Go anywhere, do anything " wich is a watch you wear on "steel" and it does absolutely everything else that your "leather dress watch collection" doesn't do ! Especially casual situations or everyday wear to have something quick to wear (less formal but can suit even a formal event depending on the choice of course). As long as it is automatic, has a date complication and has a sapphire crystal because "Charlotte A" cannot do without lol. After that, a casio "Baby g-shock"(best size for women) for sport is a must have if you workout ! So these two are an interesting next step for you if you asking me... Do not forget to watch the "lug to lug" distance and the diameter of the case for the best "fitting" of your wrist. There you go ! ;).

Yes, very well done, but spending most of my life around the northern Atlantic and Pacific, it just doesn’t resonate much.
I respect and spent a significant amount of time around that part of the world, but it’s not home.
Watches are nothing more than jewelry and they are emotional purchases.
Maybe they will have one with the other side of the planet.
