Looking at the current hearthstone it's quite funny how often he says you can take it to constructed xD
Times changed. This was before even the first expansion (I played during this time,) and yes this deck was pretty insane. One legendary especially back then was hard to get and top of that ragnaros was like the number 1 neutral card you wanted for all decks besides zoo.
All through the second game I was wondering "HOW MANY HEXES DOES THIS GUY HAVE?!"
Was it four or five hexes? Does anyone remember?

This was the best draft ever! Lucky! I get offered like 30 wisps.
my last draft I had 5 rounds that offered me alarm-o-bot, wisp, and some other useless card. i hate when i only get offered like 1-2 spells though. those drafts are always going to suck
SensibleMinded That's crazy because Alarm-o-Bot is a rare and Wisp is a common so they could never be in a pick at the same time. But that's cool.
got 9 eviscerates and 9 backstabs in my last draft and YES they were better options than the other two cards i was offered with them .__. T_T

santiagogs15 eviscerate and backstab are probably the 2 best cards in rogue deck... (just not 9, but still, better than 9 wisps)
32:30 both Cult Master and Scarlet Crusader say "Join or die". Interesting.
Also it's funny to hear the Stormwind Champion say "For the Alliance!" when a Horde character is playing him.

I was in ultra late game against a priest (like usual) but he was out of cards, his only unit on the field was a 3/2 lightwarden. But I was at 3 hp. Then I draw a True silver champion and think HA! WIN! Until I realize that I get healed BEFORE I attack. God damn, died to light warden.
Yeah, i wrote to trump's rare card topic about this strange synergy but my post was somehow spirited away to other topic and i've never heard trump mentioning that synergy again.
Those were some of the worst arena rewards ever. and for 12-0 wins? What the fuck Blizzard.
Blizzard didn't pick the rewards, they're random. That's what random means.
But I agree he should have gotten more gold at least.
Miguel Arraes Neto That's how the rest of the game works, so yes they should be. If the game weren't a CCG, or designed to have so many random elements, you'd have a point. As it stands the only thing there is to dislike is not the rewards but the game model, which is fine, but it's their choice.
This was extremely fun to watch. Between Trump's voice/thought process, and having simple but great synergy -- makes me really want to go arena right meow. Thanks for uploading this!

Just finished a 12-2 Shaman draft with a guest appearance by The Four Unbound Elementals and their merry spell synergy.
you play so good that it's almost enchanting
Ragnaros in Arena is pretty terrifying I think only one (maybe two?) players out of the ones you used rag on managed to kill him. With that nice curve and some great class cards you're bound to go far.
Stormwind Champion in Shaman deck is pretty sweet too.
whenever i draft a strong legendary in arena i usually run into opponents who picked insane amounts of removal.. i swear that stuff never happens if i pick a Harrison Jones or a Captain Grennskin or any other "bad" legendary.

impossible, lightning storm and tazdingo are 3, maybe something else, wasnt paying attention, but impossible to have the exact deck
Caesar Ah you're right about that, so he'd have to make a few changes.
Caesar I would replace 1 lightning storm and 1 Taz Dingo with 2 forked lightnings. Funnily enough he passed up 3 forked lightnings for his 3 Taz Dingos.
He can't, you can't put three lightning storms in a constructed deck.

1:16:16, you forgot to attack with the totem to put your opponent down to 7. That's pretty relevant when you have a Rag in play.
The shaman he was against in the second game had a sick deck too.
When you go perfect (12-0), it would be cool if there was an added bonus.

That shaman's deck was also crazy, 4 hexes dang.
Pretty much the same thing happened to me today on Mage. Except for a Mirror Image, the cards went from above average to top tier (3 Fireballs, 1 Pyroblast, 1 Flamestrike, 1 Polymorph, 1 Frostbolt, 2 Azure Drakes...). Not only did I go 12-0, but none of the matches was even close.

On average, an arena run is 3 wins and 3 losses. Because for every game YOU win, someone ELSE loses......

So, on average, there are slightly less losses to wins. Something like that. I just know it's slightly higher than 3 wins on average :P
that isnt how math works. Every game that someone WINS someone else must LOSE.... excluding draws, average is 3:3
Imagine if half the people went 12-0 and the other half went 0-3 though. The average wins there would be something like 5-3

That Paladin in game 9 played really oddly with that berserker. Had he attacked the wolf first before playing the protector, he could have the enrage with a divine shield on it. I'd view that as a misplay because Fairie Dragon traded for the 2-3 Berserker efficiently.

This draft reminds me of a Shaman deck where I was offered 6 Fire Elementals. I only took 5 but I should've taken them all. I went 11-0 and then lost 3 times to terrible draws.

Funny thing is I just drafted a shaman deck with 3 fire elementals, 2 sunwalkers, 3 lightning bolts, 2 lightning storms and on the final pick Ysera. :)
Those lightning storms really seem to like being in Trumps hand, so many of his starting hands contained either one or both of them.

Yes, your arena run is ended when you either get 12 wins or get 3 losses.

Trump i just wanted to say that on my first hunter arena i went 12-1. I was super pumped because before the arena i was level one with hunter. Unleash the hounds +cult master = op card draw

with the math at the end there Trump, just remember for every arena run that goes 12-0, there are probably about 4 people who go 0-3, so the average will still be 3-3. Just think of it this way: there is one winner and one loser in every game, unless it's a tie, so the total number of wins will always be equal to the total number of losses

you could have taken the ancestral spirit last pick instead of the lightning storm, since you had a rag just for the overkill, but the storm is obviously the much better card. ^^

I'm only 3 mins in, but I noticed you got 3 picks of taz dingo vs forked lightning vs a third card I didn't notice.
Now 15mins in and I can't believe that shaman lost card advantage. That says a lot about your deck. That was like his 4th hex, at least.
I don't like how the paladin played the early game in game 9. He kept on shielding the berserker before a trade, but I would have sent the berserker at someone, then summoned the guy to shield him, resulting in a 5/1 with shield. Is that a bad way to play it or would it have ended in a better trading monster? Because Shaman don't have inherent way to easily pick off a divine shield from my understanding, and a 5/1 with shield can flawlessly trade with a tazdingo, leading into his OTHER argent shielder.
Has ANYONE ever been so far even as decided to use even go want to do more look like?

I was actually thinking he draws Grimscale Oracle, draws into Unleash The Hounds and Timber Wolf (or Stonetusk Boar) and completely didn't think of Leeroy. Good call.

That double rag kill was funny although if it somehow didn't work out and you lost by some miracle on the other guys side you would have had lethal with the shattered onto the 3-1.. But that wouldn't have been nearly as Ragsome!

I've notice that trump goes for early game cards over late game cards more often, anyone know why? It seems like late game legendaries are the best for arena.
