I've never understood how Spikeridged is balanced to Blizzard. Power Word Tentacles is 5 mana 2/6 buff...this is 6 mana 2/6 and summon a 2/6 on death. So 1 extra mana nets you a 2/6. This seems especially odd when we're at a point where Silence is less prevalent than ever.
Yeah. More or less, Spikeridged Steed gives you a 4/12 with Taunt. For 6 mana. Balanced, it ain't.

Mathmachine To be a teensy bit fair, Power Word Tentacles is REALLY bad.
tentacles was prob made so bad because priest can heal there big stuff. But it is still a terrible card.
it is like recyclage, it's a druid spell that has exactly the same effect as entomb but shuffle in the opponent 's deck instead of yours . it's the same card, but worse.

But he recomended to pick all copies of it during the draft. Kinda hypocrytical, since a lot of Steeds obviously doesnt helped any of his opponents.

Maxim Tyrin there are two types of card useable card and bad card tentacle was a joke card but card are getting op and oper
its kinda like how explosive shot does 5 damage, and 2 to adjacent ones... but for one more mana, you do 15 damage and 3 to adjacent ones xD
Or recycle vs entomb, the one example of this where the worse card actually has no benefit, usually the shittier card is a bit cheaper, but nope they do the same thing except entomb shuffles the minion into your deck and recycle into the enemy deck

Defias Cleaner won me tons of games in Un-Goro arena. Natural counter to Spikeridged, totally awesome.
Thanks to you I get my first 12 wins arena with mage, without random spells and without 5 drops

I normally couldn't give the slightest crap, but yeah, I kind of expected him to actually lose a game or two as a result of the insane card he was talking about. Kind of weird to say that a single card gives a class free wins and then fail to show a single instance of that happening, lol.

I got some dude down to like 4 hp in arena when he discovered a primalfin champion and but a steed on it. I couldn't break through even after 4 turns
I usually get 3-4 wins in arena. Last night I went 8-3 with a Pali deck that had THREE Spikeridged Steeds.

Spikeridgesteed is the reason I almost always pick iron beak owl, even though the tier list rates him low. People grosly underestimate silence cards. There are too many minions now that they are useful against.
I played arena yesterday and had 3 spikeridged steed. I lost 1-3.... should I stop playing hearthstone?

stuff like, sheep, headbut, silence gets more valuable , then it loses value but without a counter its absurd value.

I drafted a paladin deck with 4 spikedreed steeds and I could have picked the fifth one too. I went 4/3 with that deck... 1 loss to a mage that had the perfect answer over and over and other two to priests with mind control.

Arena does not have a limit of two cards per deck, but it is possible in constructed as well with spell discovery using a card like Ivory Knight from the Karazhan set.

Is spikeridged steed really that unhealthy? I know it's strong, it pisses me off when my opponent gets good steeds, but i find muster for battle about, if not more frustrating at the time.

"Spikeridged Steed is so OP, it singlehandedly makes Paladin one of the best classes in Arena!" - Both his opponents played 3 of them, both lost. I'm not saying it's bad, it obviously is very strong, but maybe those two showcases weren't the best to prove that point.

What's so OP? You won the game where your opponent played 3 spikeridged steeds. Why do you act so triggered when your opponents play good cards, or... have answers? You understand that they drafted decks with cards in order to win Arena games right? Their decks are often going to have good cards and good answers.
I mean, you played a 5 mana 8/8 and then Curatored into multiple draws, including Primordial Drake, one of the strongest arena cards in the game. Seems pretty good.
