Absolutely LOVED Bobby Sherman!! Had Tiger Beat pictures of him all over my bedroom and listened to his music for hours on end. About 20 years ago I saw him on a show titled "Where Are They Now" and learned about all the humanitarian work he did, recreation centers to keep kids busy and out of trouble, and giving back to his community wherever it was needed. In my eyes, learning that made him all the more handsome and admirable!
This was the best era by far! Growing up in the late 60's and 70's was such a magical time... I wish everyone could have experienced it! I wouldn't trade that time for anything...

The memories come rushing back to me of a simpler, happier time and I can't help smiling. My brother played these songs getting ready for school or just hanging out with his friends. He was 12 yrs older than me. He passed away in 1979. Thank you brother for teaching me to love and appreciate these classics💖 I remember following you and your friends around and I always felt safe around all you guys growing up. I remember I was only 10 years old when this iconic song was released in 1969 and I tell you the women would go absolutely crazy over the one and only "BOBBY SHERMAN"...And he was the king of "BUBBLE GUM" pop music for a good while until the Osmonds came along but never the less he did pretty good for himself and God bless him for that...👏👏👏
I got to see him 4 times twice at a concert and twice in Calif during a a car show in Rialto and a Fanclub Convention in Los Angeles got hugs and pics...he's truly an amazing man who shaped the teen world

I had this record that was pressed on the back of a box of cereal - Super Sugar Crisp. Cut out the record and play it on your stereo. It didn't work too well because it wasn't completely flat. LOL. Good memories.
I don’t know how many of those I had. Before I would cut out the record, I always removed the entire back of the box, and covered the backside of the record with clear contact paper, to make the records a little more stable. My only frustration was how much they edited the songs to fill a 2 minute record.

After reading so many comments, I agree; he is adorable; unfortunately, I lived in such a small town. I never saw a teen beat or any magazines or articles about Mr. Sherman. Only thing I remember is watching him on Here Comes the Brides, and so disappointed it ended after two seasons. Also, I remember I talked my Momma into buying a box of cereal with the record on the back you cut out. That is the only record I had.

I was the one who coined that phrase in 1969, "Peace, love and Bobby Sherman." I was in 9th grade and went to a small school in Belleville WI, just about 30 miles from Madison the Capital and the famed University of Wisconsin. I remember we used to always flash the peace sign and say "Love and Peace", one day I came in the halls and said to my friends, "Peace, Love, and Bobby Sherman." Before I knew it, every one was saying it! I couldn't believe that what I said caught on! Of course most of those kids had older siblings who went to the University and then it got to be a saying there too! We were all so crazy about Bobby back then, so of course it got to be a craze. I never would have thought that a thing I would say would ever be such a popular saying in it's day. It's still kind of amazing to me that it's still remembered. I still remember that I was the first one to say it, I claim it, I said it, and everyone else after me said it. I'm proud of it!

This song made me take notice of him. I was a senior in high school and I heard this played often. For some reason I dont quite understand it struck a chord in me and it is the only song that has come out of his mouth that makes me sit up and my ears are wide open. I remember "Peace, Love and Bobby Sherman!" well LOL. We started saying after I heard a friend's older sister say it. I always wondered where it came from. Bobby was my first crush (I was eight lol) and I adored him. I can't believe he's 71 years old, but I guess time marches on. I'm glad to hear he's had a good life and has taken care of his money.

It wasn't till years later when I realized I coined that phrase. I can even name the first two person's I said it to but I can't without their permission. My room was plastered with posters and photos cut out of Teen Beat magazine. Bobby was my first concert at 13 years old. I knew every word to every song and I had them all on 45 records. I also watched every episode of Here Comes The Brides. Had a big, big crush on him.
I'm 64 years old now and I had an by Bobby Sherman. I begged for my parents to buy it for me! Talk about Puppy Love 🤩😘 But later in years it was stolen from me. I was just a young girl when I got the album.

Bobby was on the tv show Emergency! in the 70’s. He was so taken with the new paramedic program, he left singing and acting to become a paramedic. Amazing man!

Oh, I had that album too. He was sooo dreamy. I taped it to the back of my door when I was 12. I am now 48.

As many others he was my first crush and my room was also wallpapered with pics of him (and the Defrancos and David Cassidy - but Bobby was my favorite. My poor Tiger Beat's and another teen magazines got torn apart getting those pictures out, lol
I REMEMBER THAT SONG VERY WELL. IT CAME OUT THE YEAR I WAS DISCHARGED FROM THE U.S. NAVY. I WAS 23 YEARS OLD THEN.TIMES WERE SO MUCH BETTER THEN. MUSIC WAS GREAT AND THE MOVIES WERE AWESOME. BOBBY WAS A GREAT TALENT AND HAD PERSONALITY. I SURE MISS THE TALENT I GREW UP WITH.

I was the one who coined that phrase in 1969, "Peace, love and Bobby Sherman." I was in 9th grade and went to a small school in Belleville WI, just about 30 miles from Madison the Capital and the famed University of Wisconsin. I remember we used to always flash the peace sign and say "Love and Peace", one day I came in the halls and said to my friends, "Peace, Love, and Bobby Sherman." Before I knew it, every one was saying it! I couldn't believe that what I said caught on! Of course most of those kids had older siblings who went to the University and then it got to be a saying there too! We were all so crazy about Bobby back then, so of course it got to be a craze. I never would have thought that a thing I would say would ever be such a popular saying in it's day. It's still kind of amazing to me that it's still remembered. I still remember that I was the first one to say it, I claim it, I said it, and everyone else after me said it. I'm proud of it!

This song made me take notice of him. I was a senior in high school and I heard this played often. For some reason I dont quite understand it struck a chord in me and it is the only song that has come out of his mouth that makes me sit up and my ears are wide open. Thanks Bobby for a great reminder of 1970!
I remember "Peace, Love and Bobby Sherman!" well LOL. We started saying after I heard a friend's older sister say it. I always wondered where it came from. Bobby was my first crush (I was eight lol) and I adored him. I can't believe he's 71 years old, but I guess time marches on. I'm glad to hear he's had a good life and has taken care of his money.
I remember the first time I said it because my friends kind of rolled their eyes at me, like here comes that big Bobby freak so let's amuse her, so as a joke on me they went around and said "Peace, Love and Bobby Sherman.", Of course it caught on from there, I'll never forget those times of gentle humor. It's still how amazing that something that so glibly came out of my mouth could still have a life of it's own.
Have I actually just "met the originator of "Peace, Love, and Bobby Sherman?!" A phrase I thought no one else would remember? One that I was reminded of when I read it on Bobby's Wikipedia site? That I came here to post, expecting "Huh's?" Wow, the Internet is awesome.

Salice McCool That is so cool, and yes I was the first one to say it because I loved Bobby so much that I thought he embodied all these things. It wasn't till years later when I realized I coined that phrase. I can even name the first two person's I said it to but I can't without their permission. I can at least use their first names, they were Joan and Sandy when I was in Belleville, Wisconsin. The year was 1969. I remember it like it was yesterday.

My room was plastered with posters and photos cut out of Teen Beat magazine. Bobby was my first concert at 13 years old. I knew every word to every song and I had them all on 45 records. I also watched every episode of Here Comes The Brides. Had a big, big crush on him.
I'm 64 years old now and I had an by Bobby Sherman. I begged for my parents to buy it for me! Talk about Puppy Love 🤩😘 But later in years it was stolen from me. I was just a young girl when I got the album.
This bring back great memories. I saw Bobby in a concert back in 1971...he shook my hand from the stage. Ohhhhh I about fainted!

so beautiful, got to admit that. He was really something back in the day, and now that his public service has benefited so many other people, he still is. So many of us will always love our Bobby and always will!

He really was the Elvis of our day, and now he's grown and gone on to give of himself and aid others . A very special man, but we have always known that!!!!

Carolee, you are so right, they don't make them like him anymore...at least I haven't seen any since those long ago days, but Bobby was & will always be my favorite. The reason I visit youtube everyday to watch his videos is because there is just nothing that can ever compare.
I saw him in concert a few years ago & I felt like I was 13 again. So did all the woman there, I couldn't believe the way they were screaming & giving him flowers.I wasn't that bad, really! My husband was so funny though, he knows how crazy I was over Bobby, he kept pushing me closer & closer to the state
