I am planning a video called 'DREAMCATCHER: YOUR TOP 10', where I take in the votes of Dreamcatcher fans around the world in a points system. Maison is the first song I heard from Dreamcatcher and the reason why I became an InSomnia since I can't vibe with gen 4 music, many of which sound like they're made for tiktok.
i definitely vibed with the song instantly, listening on loop everyday
Maison was the same way for me. Took a bit but it's a proper banger now, in my mind.
I think my biggest issue was the lack of dynamics in the pre chorus and chorus.
I would say this rap, black or white, and red sun are peak dami raps. The only one coming up that I can think of that matches them is OOTD maybe.
Looking forward to the song reviews from this full-length album
i totally agree, i honestly didnt almost not heard the chorus at first listen , i was even suprise myself the chorus is over when the 2nd verse came, asking myself wait the chorus is over, like i said it didnt register at all, but time builds up for me more when i got to see the choreo
do check the PLAY COLOR DANCE CHOREO, that one is much personal especially in the visual aspect , gotta watch out for Handong on that one, really got me.
not counting the rap verse from the bang bang cover , yess this for me is the best Dami delivery when it comes to her rapping
I hope they have a heavier version of this song for concert performance...
i think my own dami best rap part is at demian or propose
but for main MV song rap yeah it might be, either way her and the girls performance and delivery just above what i deserve! im so spoiled :)
I have a few Dami raps that are my favorite, Maison and Black or White are up there for sure.
Maison got the win because of it's social commentary and not for the song. It's not even in the top 20 for me. Not my favorite Dami rap either. That's a toss up between Propose, Demian, and BEcause. That's just me though. I like the raps where she is physically possessed by the lyrics and is putting every breath of air in her lungs into her voice.
I like the choreo for Maison far more than the song itself. It's brilliant, especially when Siyeon puts the boot in. Definitely in my top 5 choreos. Choreo by Huang Sooyeon as are all their best choreos.
