Well isn’t it $90 before tax? Americans like to show netto prices, so that would be about £68,4 for American palette and £75 netto for UK one, that looks a bit better.

I have resisted these holiday releases for 3 years. I have the unlocked palette that has worked beautifully for me so didn't see the need for them. BUT, had to get to Dragon palette in the Lotus packaging. I am excited for it to get here, like a 58 year old kid at Christmas lol
I’m always tempted by the Hourglass palettes but never end up buying any because there’s always a few shades in each palette that I don’t like and wouldn’t use, and if I’m spending that amount of money I need to love every single shade.

Carla! I think I would do the mid range. You will really have to build up the dragon, which is great and fun to do but you’ll get a little more oomph out of the evil eye though you can switch the case in of course

I know it doesn't sell as good but i really wish the finishing powders in Dragon were next to each other. I appreciate when there is a gradient from light to deep so i can run through without being too careful in a hurry.

even those some of those highlighters were too deep for you, none of them looked like they left a cast on your face. I think that speaks to the quality of the powders, very impressed! I have a pretty light skin tone, but if I were to get one, I think the "medium" one is my fave. Great video!

hi!!! I have not been on here forever. I hardly watch makeup videos anymore. I actually like the dragon on you the best . i got the leopard last year so i really don't need this but now I'm tempted . oh no! I love the evil eye packaging and if i were to get it i would get the dragon in the evil eye packaging.
I am strongly con/sidering the medium evil eye palette, my main concern is if the "bronzer"/contour shade is actually neutral vs sunkissed, again my intention is contour, would appreciate thoughts from anyone who has experience with the palette. Thx
I thoroughly enjoyed your video, Rebecca! Especially your “face” swatches! lol I already ordered the dragon palette, including the matching brush. Another TH-camr compared the dragon palette with last year’s jellyfish palette, which I already own, and it’s much more peach versus the pink of the jellyfish one. They’re both beautiful palettes, and I’m excited to have both in my collection. Hourglass really knocked this out of the park, IMHO.
They’re usually there shortly before the big sale, though things seem to be dropping everywhere earlier this year. Everyone is trying to beat everyone. The Reddit boards for beauty usually have the latest deets. ;)

Everyone’s version of “medium” is different so I like to watch reviews from people of all skin tones. I am so tired of others purchasing the darker palettes but then refusing to try all the shades because they know it won’t work for their skin tone. 😵💫Why buy it??? I watch to see the shades in action and figure out what will work best for me based on what I see they do for others. To me, that’s what reviews are all about. 🤩
I love hourglass face palettes. They are the only face palettes I use tbh. The others I buy, I end up not using 😅 I can’t decide on weather to get the dragon or evil eye one though 😩

Hi Rebecca. I love when you overdue the colors, so I can see the colors. I’m waiting for the Evil eye palette, but I changed the cover to the Lotus. I don’t want that eye looking at me. lol . I also liked the Dragon palette too, but 2 white finishing powders, would be way too light for me, maybe the 2nd powder would be ok. But, I love the other shades in the Dragon palette. Will wait for a 20% sale at Sephora,if it goes there. lol. Hourglass powders are the best I’ve ever tried for my dry skin.
The two finishingpowders in the Dragon, does the new one has a glow and is the repeat a matte or did I see that wrong? I don't need two finishing powders but with a glow I can use it as a glow on the cheek if I want a more neutral highlight. Evil Eye is also tempting but perhaps to deep, although with light hands... I'm in doubt :-) and will you do me a favour can you swatch Dragon and Evil Eye against Ghost and Jellyfish? Maybe that can make the difference in choosing... 🙂
They’re both the Ambient Lighting finishing powders, the Dream light is described as (Cool Pearl With Soft Lavender Sheen) and the new one Divine light description is (Translucent with Sheer Pink sheen). All the bronzers are described as matte too. On the Hourglass site is where I got this from. ❤
I'm fair but usually go for shades meant for richer skin tones because I'm olive undertone. You can definitely do it, use a lighter hand, use a fuller brush to diffuse, work in thin layers and have fun!
I don’t know if my comment posted or not but I love this review! Hourglass blushes are awesome I have one of the euphoric fusion one , it does look great. However I don’t think the Powdered blushes at least those ones last long, I think a wear test would be awesome🥹 I love their initial application though haven’t tried their liquid blushes so wanna do that

Very pretty. Believe it or not, I have the Jellyfish from last year and haven’t touched it! So, I won’t be buying one of these. I too miss Barney’s! Ah, the beautiful packaging with the gorgeous regal, purple ribbon! All of the fashions, jewelry and makeup! My heart broke when they closed.☺️
I think the Evil Eye is the one meant for me. I love that it had 3 blushes, too, but why did you put the third blush down by your jaw? KIDDING!!!! 🤪😂😂 I got the Jellyfish last year but it was too light for me, but my daughter LOVES it, so it all worked out fine. Honestly though, I was nodding my head when you say you were into red blushes. ME TOO! The one powder that I’m most excited for in this entire release is the Red O blush in the Lotus palette. 🤩 I want it more than I can say. It was GORGEOUS on you. Will I buy a $90 palette just to have it, no. I won’t. If they put that out as a single, I’d snap it up in 2 seconds!
Lisa, you will laugh so hard. With the whole blush placement and touching of the face. Someone on TikTok said that they couldn’t handle that I actually put my finger on the blush in the pan

I purchased all 3 last yr and for the most part they have sat in my drawer, yet I pulled one out this morning and forgot how beautiful they are... Will think about this all day prob!!! I am really surprised that Hourglass has a palette that is deeper! I guess they are starting to listen to the complaints of their shade range. Their skin tine had a good range as well! I was not going to get any palette because I have the elephant, but the Lotus eye palette is calling me. Aww I love hearing stories of your grandma! I loved the story of you playing in her closet amongst her coat and smelling her Chanel perfume! It was such a great memory. I also still giggle remembering that she used to say “you gotta put a lip on!” Today I am wearing my Dior Lipgloss, so I am not wearing any lipstick 🩷 Hahahahaha I am going to start to wear my blush on my jaw! I don’t think people will bat an eye on the train. Maybe. Some fashionistas in Manhattan will start copying me! I love the Vibrant Coral in the Evil Eye palette! I could work on deeper skin tones. I love the shades in the Lotus! Oh my goodness the Red Oh is stunning! But I do also want the Vibrant Coral blush. The Gilded Strobe and Radiant Rose are stunning! I have read a lot of people hoping that in the future Hourglass lets us mix and match the blushes as well and I agree!

Rebecca, I always wait for your videos because you're the only influencer who truly shows us in depth what the products look like. I love the outdoor lighting moment and appreciate the over-doing the colours as it gives me the best interpretation of the product(s). Not quite a fan of those who use filters or wear "perfect" makeup as it really doesn't show me anything. Besides, I want to support you and prefer using your codes. Must add that the Dragon & Evil Eye are very classy looking but I'm not a fan of the Lotus one.....for some reason, looks cheap to me. It's pretty, but just something about it. That said, which palette was your favourite that your see yourself getting the most use of? Because I'm fair, I'm leaning towards the Dragon. All are beautiful although there's always at least one or two shades that have to be thrown in that are just "ok". I actually like the dragon on you the best . i got the leopard last year so i really don't need this but now I'm tempted . oh no! I thoroughly enjoyed your video, Rebecca! Especially your “face” swatches! lol I already ordered the dragon palette, including the matching brush. Another TH-camr compared the dragon palette with last year’s jellyfish palette, which I already own, and it’s much more peach versus the pink of the jellyfish one. They’re both beautiful palettes, and I’m excited to have both in my collection. Hourglass really knocked this out of the park, IMHO.

Everyone’s version of “medium” is different so I like to watch reviews from people of all skin tones. I am so tired of others purchasing the darker palettes but then refusing to try all the shades because they know it won’t work for their skin tone. 😵💫Why buy it??? I watch to see the shades in action and figure out what will work best for me based on what I see they do for others. To me, that’s what reviews are all about. 🤩

Hi Rebecca. I love when you overdue the colors, so I can see the colors. I’m waiting for the Evil eye palette, but I changed the cover to the Lotus. I don’t want that eye looking at me. lol . I also liked the Dragon palette too, but 2 white finishing powders, would be way too light for me, maybe the 2nd powder would be ok. But, I love the other shades in the Dragon palette. Will wait for a 20% sale at Sephora,if it goes there. lol. Hourglass powders are the best I’ve ever tried for my dry skin.

The two finishingpowders in the Dragon, does the new one has a glow and is the repeat a matte or did I see that wrong? I don't need two finishing powders but with a glow I can use it as a glow on the cheek if I want a more neutral highlight. Evil Eye is also tempting but perhaps to deep, although with light hands... I'm in doubt :-) and will you do me a favour can you swatch Dragon and Evil Eye against Ghost and Jellyfish? Maybe that can make the difference in choosing... 🙂
They’re both the Ambient Lighting finishing powders, the Dream light is described as (Cool Pearl With Soft Lavender Sheen) and the new one Divine light description is (Translucent with Sheer Pink sheen). All the bronzers are described as matte too. On the Hourglass site is where I got this from. ❤

I’m fair skinned but I like the Evil Eye Palette the most. Do you think the palette would work on my complexion or are the colors too dark?
I'm fair but usually go for shades meant for richer skin tones because I'm olive undertone.
You can definitely do it, use a lighter hand, use a fuller brush to diffuse, work in thin layers and have fun!

I don’t know if my comment posted or not but I love this review! Hourglass blushes are awesome I have one of the euphoric fusion one , it does look great. However I don’t think the Powdered blushes at least those ones last long, I think a wear test would be awesome🥹 I love their initial application though haven’t tried their liquid blushes so wanna do that
Strangely I’m not a huge fan of these current liquid blushes and I love the brand but these current liquid blushes are a little too strong

Very pretty. Believe it or not, I have the Jellyfish from last year and haven’t touched it! So, I won’t be buying one of these. I too miss Barney’s! Ah, the beautiful packaging with the gorgeous regal, purple ribbon! All of the fashions, jewelry and makeup! My heart broke when they closed.☺️

I got the Jellyfish last year but it was too light for me, but my daughter LOVES it, so it all worked out fine.
Honestly though, I was nodding my head when you say you were into red blushes. ME TOO! The one powder that I’m most excited for in this entire release is the Red O blush in the Lotus palette. 🤩 I want it more than I can say. It was GORGEOUS on you. Will I buy a $90 palette just to have it, no. I won’t. If they put that out as a single, I’d snap it up in 2 seconds!
Lisa, you will laugh so hard. With the whole blush placement and touching of the face. Someone on TikTok said that they couldn’t handle that I actually put my finger on the blush in the pan

I ordered the middle color in the lotus flower art... I so wish I had remembered about your code! Now I'm wondering if I need the lightest one... with the dragon art... I purchased all 3 last yr and for the most part they have sat in my drawer, yet I pulled one out this morning and forgot how beautiful they are... Will think about this all day prob!!! I am really surprised that Hourglass has a palette that is deeper! I guess they are starting to listen to the complaints of their shade range. Their skin tine had a good range as well! I was not going to get any palette because I have the elephant, but the Lotus eye palette is calling me.
Aww I love hearing stories of your grandma! I loved the story of you playing in her closet amongst her coat and smelling her Chanel perfume! It was such a great memory. I love the Vibrant Coral in the Evil Eye palette! I could work on deeper skin tones.
I love the shades in the Lotus! Oh my goodness the Red Oh is stunning! But I do also want the Vibrant Coral blush. The Gilded Strobe and Radiant Rose are stunning!

Rebecca, I always wait for your videos because you're the only influencer who truly shows us in depth what the products look like. I love the outdoor lighting moment and appreciate the over-doing the colours as it gives me the best interpretation of the product(s). Not quite a fan of those who use filters or wear "perfect" makeup as it really doesn't show me anything. Besides, I want to support you and prefer using your codes. Must add that the Dragon & Evil Eye are very classy looking but I'm not a fan of the Lotus one.....for some reason, looks cheap to me. It's pretty, but just something about it.
That said, which palette was your favourite that your see yourself getting the most use of? Because I'm fair, I'm leaning towards the Dragon. All are beautiful although there's always at least one or two shades that have to be thrown in that are just "ok". I love the Evil Eye shades too but honestly, I don't see myself buying more than one of these. Thank you again for a great video. I DO see World Domination in your future! 🌎 and beyond! 🛸👽
