"a lot of people around here don't know what a Troubadour is". That is so loaded with meaning on many levels. it is a succinct way of summing up her current existence. I have often wanted to teach a class in a women's prison on shakespeare. i believe that once some people can understand the majesty of it, they will change the way they look at themselves. and that is the first step to a new life.
