Some of us are raised in dysfunctional households, and consider that normal. That’s why toxicity is so attractive to some people, they’re addicted to drama. If they ever get with someone who’s decent and well adjusted, more often than not, it won’t last. Because the dysfunctional person will feel something’s missing; chaos. It’s sad, but true.

He was so used to people talking down to him his whole life, had a toxic ex wife who put others before him, he was used to having to lead with his money, etc. I told him it’s like you hate me for actually being the one to care. He couldn’t BELIEVE how calm and peaceful I was (even though he said that’s what attracted him to me in the first place 🤦🏽♀️) because he was so used to chaos. The first time/day I argued with him is the same day I broke up with him. If I can’t be my feminine, peaceful, encouraging, happy, extremely loving self with you then I can NOT be with you!
