Yeah maté unfortunately that’s the nature of the beast!! With out a twin jet carb this is as quick as it will go! But check out the other vids coz this one has the chain I got on it it’s tungsten tipped and a couple corners are knocked off on it
Throw the tungsten chain in the bin . Husky x cut. Oregon exl . Stihl chain . The rest don’t hold and edge like the leading brands . A good hand file full chisel full comp 32 inch bar on that saw . It’s a 125 it was made to pull long bars . Cool saw buddy . 👍🏻
Hello marko!!! Yes I will be it’s got some corners knocked off!! I’ve had great luck so far with hurricane,titan and Longer chains,,, some stihl chains I have are actually softer then these others… thanks for watching mate I’ll do another vid when I get a better chain on it👍
Only because it’s a single jet carb and tungsten tipped chain…. I reckon I have a carb here off a stihl 076 that will work on it and I’ll be getting another chain
@@brendosghanasenditsaws I have had several single jet carbs so I know the difference, sarcasm of running properly and only being twice as slow vs three times as slooooooooooow!

Heck of a saw for sure, different chain set up good and sharp bet it cuts a lot better
Yeah for sure mate! But I’ve recently been told it has a nova chip on it so timing is possibly out I’ll check it out soon👌

Well that killed any desire for a vintage chain saw, that was more than 3 times the time of a Sthil 500i.

@@brendosghanasenditsaws should be able to get it all dialed in and only double the time comparison instead of triple.

go down to .35 to ....40 on the rackers if that saw is running right it will pull through no problem
