In 1999 first visit to Miami, partner and I drove this route from south beach, in a chevy cavalier convertible rental, off season, then traffic was very lite no congestion, the drive and scenery was breathtaking plus we got a good tan. Great times.🌞

When I was 16 years old, back in 1976 my dad borrowed his boss's motorhome, at Christmas time, our family went from the finger lakes to key West in it. I remember the 7 mile bridge the most, not sure if it was the same one, or maybe it was the older one that you mentioned with the trees growing. I do also recall going to I believe it was a museum in key West. It was full for treasures from ship wreaks maybe. Long time ago, have never been back. My parents are long gone since then. Thanks for the trip and the memories.
