Sorry it's been so long y'all! This summer has been a doozy, a quick list of repairs I've had to make on my boat is below, but I think I'll get back on schedule here soon - just one more repair pending. As always, I appreciate y'all watching and commenting and all that, have a great Labor Day weekend! The repair list here: - Replaced steering cable - Converted to hydraulic steering after the above failed - Replaced trailer light wiring and trailer lights after hitting a pothole in New Orleans - Replaced trolling motor plug after finding corrosion - Replaced trailer axle And the remaining repair will be - fixing my bow-eye. What a summer it has been.
Last time I tried to go into Magnolia Lagoon I hit about 20 stumps in the first 300 yards. Any advice for navigating the waters there? Looks like an awesome spot to fish but a bit dicey. Thanks in advance. Love the channel.
Yeah, it's a really rough spot to fish and the handful of people who have come with me have seen me hit a few stumps as well. But, those stumps are what make it so great and keep it relatively unpressured, so it evens out. So for tips, right now is the time to fish it. We've had easterly winds for almost two weeks with no end in sight. That plus any time within 2 hours of the peak of the rising tide will be fine. There are some other tips I can't make public, maybe I need to do some kind of members section for info like that. Either way, what I said above works. Thanks for watching and subscribing man, really appreciate it!

Proving me wrong....you can catch marsh Reds in August. Guess I should've tried lol. Glad you're back.
Ha yeah you can you just have to start before the sun rise. After 930 or so it shuts down.

Awesome video content.
The Hopedale area is such fun to explore!
Totally agree. It's so hard for me to fish anywhere else, there's just so much in Hopedale.
The early morning shots make wish i never sold my boat
It's the only reason I keep my boat. Something just magical about the views and the sounds at sunrise in the marsh.

Thanks brother, it's been a long journey to get back out there.
