When will you do a full and in depth review? I am planning to purchase this. This looks like the old CRT TV if you look at the handles on the sides where you lift the machine. Amazon has it for $289 another words $300 where as Coway has it for $400. I miss the old CRT TV. I will call this a "TV air purifier" LOL. This new product is a "HOT" buy because Amazon has it out of stock. This came out April 27,2021. Not a bad looking thing. I like it because it's small and it does not take much space which is good and it is the latest and greatest and it is POST COVID machine so this is great!
Keep in mind that I've only used it for a couple weeks, that being said, so far so good th-cam.com/users/postUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM . Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.
I’m thinking about getting the 200 today it’s for 200 bucks at Walmart or they have the two in one words circular like around fan but it rotates 360° that one is 100 bucks did you get the purifier was a good?
that's actually one of the things that caused the air purifier market to grow in the US. These things can combat smoke whether it's from a forest fire, cigarette or accidentally smoking meat on your stove. Wirecutter has a good breakdown of what air purifiers are good for and not so good for: www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/blog/everything-an-air-purifier-can-and-cant-do/
In the video they specifically state smoke, pollen and general dust in the air can be removed. They remove smoke particles however they're not great with VOCs, or odors. The charcoal layer in most filters are what help with odors which the Coway AirMega 250 does have.
Does This include Removing Dust from the air, which is Primarily what I would be interested in ? Would there be an Air Purifier that works "Primarily" at Catching Dust, That May be Less Expensive ? Thank You Josh, JaneLee - in Suburban Philadelphia 5/17/21
I personally would never buy a product that requires cartridges of the same brand. I would consider it if only they made a device where you can refill a container with activated carbon and some other off the self chemicals to make it work.
We're based out of NC in the US, but air purifiers are handy in almost any indoor setting. If you're cooking for example, or for certain times of the year like pollen season or even for helping bring down high particle counts generated by everyday home items like rugs, wood floors, insulation and activities like cooking, vaccuming etc. Here's an article I was reading yesterday that walks through indoor air enviroments and how HEPA filters-based air purifiers can help: www.wired.com/story/the-quest-for-clean-air/ - Josh
Funny; I actually think it’s sleek and low profile compared to the round basic white towers that make it obvious you have an appliance sitting against your wall or in a room. I prefer how slim it is and I feel it blends into my decor. To each their own.
This is not a reviews, it's an infomercial.

Was hoping for a performance review
Our filter lasts about 2 months, despite always being on blue and manually set to 1 it is on 24/7 though
Should I get this one, or the Air Mega 200?
Just sit your mom in the middle of the room, she would absorb all your shit bruh

Failed to demonstrate how airflow works through the filter, and proof of decontamination.
We live in California. Fire season is approaching. How helpful can this device be for heavy smoke that may last several weeks?

@@6MonthsLater according to Wirecutters - NO hepa of any type will remove a whole lot of what is said hepa will remove. so now what?

Will this work if I leave it on and use a lamp timer to have it on a schedule?
Yeah, it should just go back to its previous settings when the power comes back on

I don't know about it, but I believe dust particles are pretty big, a dehumidifier with a dust filter might work.

Thanks D, Your Reply, Much Appreciated 😊.

It'll definitely suck some dust into the filter but the device doesn't claim to remove or reduce dust specifically.
@@6MonthsLater I know what you can suck :)
All appliances need a light toggle!
For Sure! Especially if you put it in a bedroom.
Just another infomercial

let us know when you find a unit that works with a DIY carbon pellet refill.
Generic filters are also avaiable for coway. However, you need to take a risk cuz a fake filter could be delivered
Fantastic Content as always Josh!👍
Was it tho?
Where do you live since you need a air purifier?
