Well now, I thought I didn't need this class, then I watched this video and changed my mind. I have unused alcohol inks, I've been a bit put off by them, ya know, I 'd make an ugly mess. (duh) I just signed up, thank you for posting this. I'm looking forward to some serious playtime!
I am signed up for the class. I will watch and learn. I do own copic refills and alcohol markers, but that is all. I want to absorb and decide if this is for me. I do not like messes as I am not near a sink that I can get to easily, walking with a cane and all. See you Sunday.
@@KarenLeanneCreates2024 I do not think they will work like pure alcohol ink or alcohol marker refills. They do work great for the Polished Stone Technique and you do splotch alcohol onto the color with that technique. Maybe give it a try and see what happens. Let's tag Tiffany and see what she thinks. @Tiffany.Solorio
@@KarenLeanneCreates2024 I don't think so. Regular inks do a weird thing when isopropyl alcohol to it. I would try it. Maybe there is a DIY video on youtube.
I'm so happy you're signed up! I wear gloves for that purpose too; just to keep me a little less messy. Not sure if I'll be a rebel on Sunday though. lol

I have hesitated to sign up for the class, despite LOVING your classes, Mary. However, I do not own a single alcohol ink and didn't really want to get into yet another technique. I have sooooo much stuff as it is now and I just got my craft room organized-- where am I going to put this stuff??? However, I've heard and seen how fabulous Tiffany is, I know how fabulous you are, and seeing this video has changed my mind. I'll watch the presentation while I have the chance, take notes, and decide later what to do about buying the necessary equipment. Looking forward to being dazzled!

I just have a question for you about how to store ink pads. Do you keep them right side up or turn them upside down? Somebody told me that they should be upside down so they don’t dry out. I would like to know what you suggest.
This is such a great question and I think the answers will vary. I store them with label side up, not upside down and I've never had an issue with inks drying out. I have to say, the Stampin'up Ink pad design has always been pretty brilliant in my opinion. BUt I don't have those anymore and still haven't found an issue with storing them how I do. I will say, I won't store my inks on their side though because do find that the ink will gather to one side of my pad. So I guess if they do that on their side, then storing them upside down might help keep the ink at the top. I've rambled! lol I think I'll try it and see what happens.

I use copic refills all the time. The colors are beautiful.
I have regular Stampin Up ink refills. Can I add alcohol to those?
