Having a loud exhaust on a bike is another safety device when people who drive cars use phones and sat navs and wind their stereos up to the max. I think there should be a sound limit on car stereos. As a motorcyclist who has a few years on the road ,I have had some scary times which may have not happened if car drivers were made more aware of others on the road, while they are protected in their metal box.
Shame people are putting hate comments about this,but personally I think that bike is amazing not only with looks but it sounds quite good aswell, but some people just don’t get the idea, people don’t put loud exhausts on their bikes/cars to annoy others and show off how loud it is, they do it to please themselves and make them feel joyful, still none the less great video overall👍🏻👍🏻
Looking at the comments, people definitely miss the point of motorbikes. Bikes are like our partners, we fall in love, try and change something’s to make them better but in the end fall for the differences and wouldn’t want them any other way. I once had a 883r with Vance and Hines side shots sounded awesome, it’s partner was a CBR6. I now have my garage with a speed twin with Vances and monkey bike with a full akro system, again sounds epic. We all ride for various reasons, and love what it gives us. I can only guess for those that are haters they are either jealous, non riders or suffering from some type of disorder only found in people that have nothing in their life but the burning desire to pass their hate of life and the fact theirs sucks onto other by being rude and opinionated. Great video.

I like Harley Davidsons but I honestly detest noisy ones....They arent that quiet stock either so theres no need.And now we have tourers with booming sound systems to hear above the exhaust.Really quite antisocial,and all us bikers will regret when the noise laws come to pass if we arent careful....

I'm American but grew up 50 years in England ( long story) . I had a 1991 1200 Sportster. As mentioned in the comments Harley's at the time were quite rare. For two reasons mainly no Dealership s and they were F en expensive. So most people bought Japanese bikes .I'm finally back in America now.and have a 2014 Street glide and a 2005 Deuce with BUBA pipes ( out of California) on it . Now you want to talk about loud 😏. Also.where I was in England on the East Coast the MOT ( state inspection in the states ) was very anal on noise output .👍😎🇬🇧🇺🇸
Men u ordered that seat all the way here in North Hollywood CA. I went to the Le Pera main office to order a seat for my Suzuki Blvd and they said they only make seats exclusively for Harley. Now we have the same exact bike 2014 HD sportster 883 and mine has vance and hines exhaust.

Great looking Milwaukee paint mixer, the 883 and 1200 Evolution are my most favorite Harley engines ever made for reliable daily use. The shovel head Super glide was my first bike in 1979.

Yeah he's right. At speed the sound is behind you. My chopper is louder than this and I've ridden it cross country (and I mean coast to coast,2500 miles) multiple times. The wind is the issue which is worsened by an ear covering helmet. Acts like an echo chamber almost. I can ride 50 miles with a helmet and my ears hurt but hundreds of miles no helmet and I'm fine. Kinda weird really.
Really. I can’t see an 883 traveling faster than the speed of sound! The reality is an obnoxious level of noise for everyone else, made worse when travelling through towns and villages when the sound echos off stone walls and houses.

Perfect for short ride. I'm guessing it's too loud for a long highway cruise. Might leave your ears humming for hours after you got off the bike 😄
