The Mask is 25 years old! I was in school when it came out. I'm so ancient... I wouldn't be surprised if a remake has been planned, there's been a lot of remakes lately. But if they can't get Jim Carrey then it's a bit pointless. I hope they won't try to make it without him. A feelgood video as usual, thank you :)
Apparently the comic of The MASK is pretty gruesome, and the movie was meant to have been directed by a horror director and made into a horror/comedy, but things fell through and we have what we have today, which is "ace", but a dark version would be interesting indeed. I mean....they have done a horror based on the Banana Splits for the love of God! lol
It's a fun movie! I never did see it at the time, probably because I couldn't stand Jim Carrey back then... I was probably VERY serious during the grunge era! The channel GoodBadFlicks has a very entertaining entry about how the Mask was made. This game however, doesn't seem worth the frustration. The only great thing about it is the main character.
It's a huge coincidence, I didn't see that they had done theirs until around an hour after I published this one. To say I was a little gobsmacked, is an understatement.

Why is the footage darkened? It looks so weird
4 years ago, I am guessing the emulation wasn't quite up to scratch. That's my guess anyway :)
