The 1980's Verdansk was a great touch to Warzone and provided a unique and fun experience. Cold War BR would probably die quickly if it was ever launched.
Reminds me of Blackout. Also if we got full scaled maps like these and outbreak had and alternative mode where you can just survive on one map with like 12 people or something. I'm pretty cold war would have been the biggest zombies mode ever made. (Not saying cold war was bad, i actually loved the shit out of it)
I like to see how they reussed zones from this map for outbreak, but it would been very cool if we got the entire map for outbreak, something simillar to mwz

@@xtruejudgementx5017 That would've been, imo, really bad. Warzone is simply better than Blackout imo and I played the shit out of Blackout. Warzone is much simpler for the average COD Player while Blackout is much more in depth.
It played great on zombies but was pretty average on Dirty Bomb (essentially a smaller more obj focused version of BR) I had a lot of fun squad wiping players but because the gas would often be in the worst spots especially the upper mountain area,you would get a lot of unfair matches of people camping the whole match or worse the killstreak spammers who would hold onto ac 130's and chopper gunners. The other bad thing was how unbalanced the attack chopper vehicle was even after nerfs,the damage was high and basically instant for the pilot and gunner turret. Again,good map,poor gameplay and balancing. I won so many matches of Dirty bomb and had fun solo and in quads. No one plays the mode at all though,the same applies to outbreak and all other versions of it,very few remember these good side modes @alexsilva28
@@zedus4042 not really, the engine upgrade from bo3-4 is crazy, and if you are going to make that point, we can call this the modern warfare 2 engine because that's what's treyarchs engine was based off of
@@pivotgamer4569 well yeah in fact the engine at its core is a modified IW engine but the difference between BO3 and 4 visually barely exists, if anything there's multiple aspects that got downgraded from BO3 to 4. A video from *Nick930 "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 vs Black Ops 3 | Direct Comparison"* greatly demonstrates how those two games compare with each other and makes it very clear that it's pretty much the same thing only with some aspects being downgraded possibly for the sake of the battle royale mod which required a much larger map.
@@zedus4042 a visual comparison is not the same as a technical comparison, i've already seen that video aswell. but the technical comparison from bo3 to bo4 is quite the jump, it is an almost completely different engine with how much has changed.

It seems like this was intended to be a continuation of Blackout for Cold War, and each game would have its own dedicated BR. My guess is Activision didn't anticipate the massive success of Warzone, and scrapped this BR once WZ blew up. Which makes sense if this "Blackout 2" was stuck behind a paywall, and also might explain the half baked integration we got with CW into WZ and Verdansk '84. I would've liked to have played the fleshed out version of this BR though since I never played Blackout.

I still play blackout and it definitely has a player base, I feel despite others that it was the best call of duty battle royale. Always hated warzone so I guess I can’t speak on it too much lol

They ditched it for fireteam, which was then short lived because of warzone. But dirtybomb was legit more fun than any wz match I’ve played

I don't think they changed it, it only sounds different because in the final game they sped up the fire rate of it

Cold War launched in an abysmal state, Warzone did not kill this, the 6 months development time in covid that sledgehammer had killed this

outbreak was originally supposed to be on this full map, with the zone and objectives shifting to different poi's throughout the match
