    In this video I demonstrate in detail how to change the blade. However, after saying it's so important to always remove the battery before touching the blade, I actually changed the blade with the battery attached!
    Let my mistake reinforce the safety issue of always removing the battery before getting your hands anywhere near the working part of the device. My only excuse is that there's so much to think about with filming with two cameras and dealing with the audio levels - hopefully not distractions that you will have.

      Did you not listen to what I said after I forgot to remove the battery?

    A very good review and I like your honesty but I really think you should reshoot it without the battery. I was cringing and shouting at the screen! You'd never forgive yourself if someone got hurt whilst watching your video. Someone might not watch it through before playing with the saw. Very good reviews though. I've watched a few.

    Hi Paul~ I also bought a 6" chainsaw and it's better than I thought. I tried it on my last camping trip and it was great.

      Hi Ohs - I agree - these mini chainsaws are ideal - particularly for you out camping and collecting firewood.

    does it change color by itself?

    • @paultreviews
      @paultreviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, it takes a lot of skill to have it change colour - I possess that skill.

    You are correct, let the chainsaw do the work and by all means do not force it. Putting too heavy of a load upon it will lead to an enviable motor failure. These little tools work amazingly well when properly cared for and maintained. Great video, Paul.

      Paul T sounds exactly like the guy who explains the Einstein Field theory equations . He pauses and intones in the same measured way. Is this characteristic of a certain area of the Uk ?

      @cliffordmorris6091 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe you meant inevitable rather than enviable which means other people would be envious ie jealous of the fact that you had destroyed this motor. Inevitable on the other hand implying the certainty of doing it.

      That’s interesting- I’ve never really thought about the rhythm but just to note I do edit my videos to cut out all the pauses and when I’ve messed up - so don’t know if that affects the characteristics of the voice pattern.

      That’s a good comment as I am also interested in semantics - I’ll have to re watch my video to hear my inevitable mistakes. Lol 👍

    I just purchased this kit in the USA. Was wondering about oil since it wasn't mentioned in the manual. Thank you for the info

      After my review the company are looking at including oil. I just bought a bottle of it from Amazon. My sister used her’s without oil and without problem but I think it’s a good idea.

      @@paultreviews It worked really well for around 40 mins on first use. On its 2nd use the spool turning the chain has started making a horrible rattle and stops intermittently. Sadly it is going back, really disappointed as it's a very handy tool for cutting my kindling wood.

    • @paultreviews
      @paultreviews  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What shame - hearing a rattle is always a concern with moving parts. Mine is still working fine.
