As a ranger fan since 2010 its been an honor watching hank play in person, and on tv he's truly the king ,and it will always be a shame the cup wont bear his name it great to see him promoted other stuff beside hockey.
I'm a Penguins fan ever since but, I loved and admired him and called him THE WALL. To me, he is the ONLY wall. I'm very happy for him for Hockey Hall of Fame. Congratulations!
Hank should have gotten at least one cup during his career, man. He deserved one. Same with Pricey, if Pricey can play again before he officially hangs it up, he should win a cup especially with the Habs.
@sugerless20 I'm a Habs fan too, Pricey was one of my favorite tendies not just in Habs history but the league as a whole. And I'm sure he's not completely done. And like you said, that 2014 ECF was emotional af we should have won that. And I agree, McJesus is absolutely gonna win a cup. It's only a matter of time before him and Draisaitl get one. But I think Matthews and co. are gonna get one before us or the oilers do.
@sugerless20 I was looking at that not too long ago, I might get it. I'll check it out again this week and see. Yeah we've been absolutely atrocious since Pricey left, but hopefully this year we'll at least be 1st in the division. Yeah and as for my fandom, I've been a Habs fan my whole life. José Théodore was my hero growing up, him and Saku were the faces of our team. Those two were the first two players that I looked up to. We were so close to winning the damn thing so many times growing up, we had teams like the 2009-10 team, 2010-11 team, the 2012-13 team that had legitimate chances to make it to the cup finals and win the whole thing but every year there was always a team in our way. I feel like especially that 14 ECF we were talking about earlier, I think that was gonna be the year we won had Pricey not gotten clipped by Kreider.
One night after a game, Rangers beat the Penguins 5-0 at the garden me and my dad went to the outside where the players come out. We saw Sam Rosen come out, Rick Nash, and of course Henrik Lundqvist. He rolled his tinted windows down and I handed him my ny rangers playoff hat of that year as everyone was rushing to get a signature but I didn’t have a sharpie luckily some nice fellow handed me his dark gray sharpie and Henrik signed my gray hat, so it was gray on gray. I still have it to this day encased as if he signed it yesterday, he has one heck of a signature. I have never had such a genuine interaction with a sport’s celebrity like that and the way he was so elegant and kind made my year. I haven’t been a big rangers fan since he left, he was the team to me and without him I went on to watch other sports such as baseball and the Mets. But it meant a lot to me and I’m sure he does it a lot and wouldn’t remember but to share something like that is very special and I’ll never forget the moments with me and my dad at the Garden.
He always had that hairline lol. It's almost as if the top of his head is slightly tilted. Could be because he had to share space with his twin brother in the womb.

Hank is truly a legend and always a class act.
so grateful Hank went into media after he retired and we still get to see him on our tv's from time to time
