I wonder if they say the limit is 350lb due to the size of the weight horns or because the attachment can't handle more than 350lb safely. I want to get a PR4000 with this attachment and the belt squat attachment, and 350 isn't going to cut it for legs. Although, I probably won't ever do more than 450lbs in the belt squat so I wouldn't be going crazy over the advertised limit.

Just a heads up, REPs assembly video now recommends silicone spray instead of white lithium grease. Just installed my PR5000 with Lat & low row tonight.

Awesome- thank you for letting me know! That’s my only complaint is that I have to respray often to keep it gliding nicely.

Thanks for the video. Does this attachment affect the ability to do flat and incline bench inside the rack? I'm wondering if the the low row part will prevent the bench from getting deep enough to use the interior rear uprights for flat and incline pressing.

    • @dreweekly7135

I actually do bench from the outside/front of the rack. I use the inside for squats so I’m unsure. I wouldn’t think so as the foot brace/plate at the bottom slides all the way out 🤙🏻

@@dreweekly7135 Thanks, my area might not be large enough to bench outside the rack, so that's why I was wondering. I only have about 10ft 5 in of space from back to front.

Fantastic review!! Appreciate the level of detail.
I do have a question. I have the PR4000 rack as well, and I'm interested in buying the Lat/Low Row attachment. However, my personal trainer, in the interest of saving me some $$$, is recommending against getting one. His reasoning is that, because I'm already able to do pull ups/chin ups, have a barbell, about 370lbs of plates and a dip belt, he believes there are ways to work the same muscles the Lat/Low Row attachment targets.
    What are your thoughts?
Just for reference, I'm fairly fit and able to do about 300lb deadlifts, 200lb barbell squat and decline chest press.

RBS without the lat/low attachment adds 9.5”. With the lat/low its an extra 26” but need to also account for the plates you add on as well.

I’m putting mine together right now, and have a. Ore on assembly. Life will be easier and if you have a close clearance on your ceiling scup step 2 until after step 6. Basically don’t attach anything to the rack until sliders are assembled or it won’t have clearance to put it on and will be easier to get the bolts in. Also had to partially remove the REP sign cross piece to get to over the top(I only have about 1 inch to spare.)

How u doing bro have u gotten any new attachments for ur pr4000, have u tried the belt squat attachment? I have two buldging disk in lower back so iam really looking for a belt squat solution. I been doing landmine belt squats which are ok..I wonder if leverage arm belt squats are better

So the PR 5000 is the same as PR 5000v2. I built my rack at rep fitness its a pr5000. Iam a little confused I chose the 80" rack and 30" if I buy lat pull down attachment and stabilizer I won't need to bolt it down correct?? Will the rogue leverage arms work on this rack?
    OK this is my dilemma.🙄
I currwntly have this set up PRX wall rack and separate valor lat pull down machine, separate rogue pull up bar, separate rogue band station with matador dip attachment and landmine (this is what I currently have right now) and many of other things.. I want the rogue arms so for that I will have to get another rack I think so I been looking at the one mentioned avobe..now if I get the pr5000 with lat pull down, rogue leverage arms, dip, land mind and pull up bar attachments I can sell all my other stuff and this way I will have everything consolidated in one rack..don't know if I will like everything cramped up in one place though🤔🤔. Or maybe just replace prx wall rack with rogue wall rack and keep everything else in separate stations like I have it now??🤔🤔

If Iift outside rack do u think I can use the rear post for plate storage, will the plates loaded there will interfiere with anything? The only think I will probably use the inside of the rack will be to do rack pulls. Will I be able to ise the belt squat attachment with the 4 post too?

    • @joecowan3719
      @joecowan3719 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@futbol1972 Yeah, I can see how people can have that issue. The main movements I use them for are chest press and chest supported rows and don't move them up and down much. There are also plenty of people out there that have gotten very creative and use them for a dozen movements. Overall, I think they are cool, a nice idea, but unless you have used them before at a buddies house and are confident you are going to use them every day for multiple movements, I would not buy them. I do love having both the Valor BD62 and the rep Lat Low Row so I can keep each at different weights and super set, it is excessive to have both, but it saves changing weights and attachments all the time. Hope this helps.
