Depends based on section size and strength.
ISMB500 is used for beam and column .and for octagrid box section of 91.5*91.5*4.5mm is used.in octagrid model near about all peripheral column is removed and provide the octagrid.which is 8sided.can you share me your what's up no .I will share you full details

How to decide eccentricity in eccentric bracing
It is as per your site requirements. If no vehicles or obstructions are not present then you can go for diagonal instead of eccentric. Even a good start to take 60 degrees angle. maximum 75 degrees can be taken. also refer the code of practice AISC 360-10 for more clear understanding.

I am a mtech 2nd yr structure Engineering students..
I watched all you videos..
My project was different types of bracing frame system in g+9 storey build..
I followed your concepts n designed 3 models
1) a simple unbraced frame
2) concentric bracing frame str.
3) eccentric bracing with zipper coloums.
But in our college they r saying it's wrong .
What should i do sir

@@alokkumarmohanty8403 Please add end conditions which are required for your project and also other loading pattern requirements. Please try to find requirements from your guide. Edit necessary things with your experts advice. Procedure of providing bracing is what I have shown. Remaining things may vary project to project.

My guide is saying you can only use angle sections for bracings
You can't use ISLB,ISMB,ISHB& ISWB section for bracings .if you are taking this it's a wrong procedure.den i showed you videos from here i learn
Then i make my steel section design from autosection mode as you did in your videos
But my guide is saying choosing auto selection mode is wrong.you have to choose a single section for beam & a single section for column is it write or wrong m confused.
Like he is saying to me your entire building should be desing with a single sectioned beams & and a single section column & composite beams & barcings

I read some journals they are also using ISHB section for bracings.
But my guide is saying we can't use it's a improper design.plz sir expain me why autosection mode is wrong .
N for project we don't know what size should we take for beams & colums as it's not a concrete structure.
