The game is really fun and I love the puzzles However, I think there is problem with the machine. There are several times that we input the code that we are quite sure it's correct, but the machine still says it's wrong. Regardless it's part 1 or 2 or 3
Hi Skyler, the chrono decoder recognizes the first code you insert (even if it is not correct) and then knows what game you're playing. Pretty smart right?

My game only came with 3? Also I was playing secret agent one and we did the first 2 parts in less than 30 minutes. However when we tried to input the code for part 3 it said we were wrong but we kept working it again and again and kept getting the same code. Literally spent the rest of the half hour and then additional 40 minutes. So we looked up the escape room code and it said the first key (from the red poster, we were supposed to get a 2 and therefore use key 2 as the first part. they used 2 square keys and 2 triangle keys to make put the number 2. But no where does it suggest to use the 2 triangle keys. On our red poster there was only 2 partial outlines that suggested a square key. We were confused on this and assumed we had to use the key with the square for the first part of the code. Where does the game suggest we use 2 additional keys of the triangle ones to make a 2? The walkthrough on there website described things in detail but not this part. Did we get a messed up game, were there supposed to be outlines for the triangle keys as well?
Our game was missing the hint thing with the red window. The decoder doesn't work. The music/sound from the decoder is super annoying when you also have the app playing music. Why not just have a decoder app you can pause if you want to, and save the world the plastic too? I wouldn't buy this game again.

We checked over and over to make sure we had the exact order and we did. I don’t know why it says we were wrong. Is there anything we didn’t do right?
Hi Jordan, did you use completely new batteries for the Chrono Decoder? If not, the batteries could cause a problem where the right codes still give an error.
I had this problem, and yes with new batteries. we tried 3 different sets of brand new batteries. the 3rd key slot always gave us the incorrect buzzer. tried playing over and over again. failed everytime because of this. HUGE waste of time

Heloo, I bought the EscapeRoom game recently and found out my Chrono Decoder device has no sound. curious about this, I opened the box and found the sound wire (blue) has been disconnected.
Sorry to hear your Chrono Decoder didn't work properly. Did you fix the problem by reconnecting the wire or is it still broken? Because then we will look at another solution.
I tried to play this game with my partner and we could not decode it or clearly we were doing something wrong. After hours we said fine we’ll find the answer key somewhere online and we couldn’t find anything so we didn’t know what we did wrong or if we were right and the machine is broken? Where can I find the answer key for all 4 games?

Do not buy these games. UK customers are getting royally ripped off. If you look at some of the versions of both Escape Room 1 and 2 you'll see that each have 4 games, however in the UK we only have 3 in each; basically we lose two games whilst paying the same price. The game that's missing in game 1 is Temple of the Aztecs which even appears on the UK version of their OFFICIAL WEBSITE!! I've contacted them about the discrepancy and they couldn't even be bothered to reply to me. Anyway if anyone's interested in these type of games, EXIT: Escape Room is far far better in that the puzzles are more varied, there's more of them, they're affordable and you won't get ripped off.
We have the submarine set. Try first the 15minutes intro game "Under water". Play it for 1 hour and 30 minutes and couldn't find the right solution. Can we read it somewhere because I don't know what's wrong

Agreed...the key part where you line it up on the paper was not clear at all and very hard

Does it matter which order you put the keys in the decoder? We find all 4, but can't tell which order they need to be put in the machine.
