I can see right away when you applied it to your right eye that it has a sheen to it, also the lighting in your room matters as well & it does look moisturizing and nice on your skin. I agree about powder application sometimes powder doesn't work with some concealers or foundation. I live in the west , have normal skin but can't always apply powders to my skin. Good video, you have a funny sense of humor too. : )

I thought to myself, I’m 52 years old and I STILL have to deal with mountain zits?! AND Wrinkles? How is that? Anyway, I’m very excited about the concealer and I am definitely trying it. I’ve recently been buying all the concealers I can get my hands on. I’ve always been more of a no makeup makeup when it comes to my face and always have only used concealer. I've been really loving the concealer overload lately. So far I've picked up The Hourglass and the Dior. I like them both although they're very different. Lately I've been favoring the Dior for a more everyday and natural look.
Iris loves life which one creates less? I have hourglass and wet n wild photofocus concealer for different days. I am curious to know if Dior goes into the fine lines.
@@lkaur6970 concealers don't generally crease on me but I would think the Dior would crease less than The Hourglass. The Hourglass is thicker so I always make sure to use a very small amount. The Dior is thinner and has a more natural look.

I’m excited to try this. I have extremely dry skin and never powder, not even under the eyes. (I don’t have any “natural oil” in my skin, other than a wee bit on eyelids and forehead....). So any concealer that doesn’t need powder and claims to be moisturizing/retaining of moisture is appealing to me. Thanks for this review + wear test Michele 👍
xoxjelloxox so Luminous silk foundation has Alcohol listed as the 5th ingredient! Not so great for skin in general but terrible for the delicate eye area ! The new concealer seems to be free of drying alcohol

I decluttered the Armani power fabric concealer as well. I loved it at first and about a month later, started to make my under eyes look like a crepey mess. Seemed to dry out in the tube like a mascara would.

Beautiful nonetheless mostly for spot conceal instead of foundation or for those with less discoloration and not many fine lines. The powdered side looked almost perfected in your studio lighting, but in natural light, the unpowered side looked a lot better. I mean, you have beautiful skin overall so we're picking nits here, but the unpowered site for me looks best overall. Thank you for this video! Hey if you didn’t liek how the powder you used under the eye to set with this I’d suggest trying the Chantecaille perfect blur finishing powder it went great with it!! When my skins dry I can only use certain powderes to set and it stay looking good. The humming bird version does the same job. Also the Dior powder no powder is great to set under the eyes also. Idk sometimes certain powders don’t play well with certain products. I use the Mizuho MB114] Highlighter Brush MB Series to set under the eyes and other places. It’s a must have brush of you don’t have it!!! I believe it’s pine squirrel & pony hair. It’s an Amazing brush!! The shape is everything!!) I got it from CDJapan
I got the shade 4.5 I was worried about the shade. I LOVE the dior concealer it's my favorite so fingers crossed I like the Armani as much mine is coming tomorrow.

Hi Michelle! -- try the glowy armani concealer in a richer shade in a sheer layer to the permitter of your face, or where sun would naturally hit you at its greatest intensity (general bronzing zones). Then apply more natural finish best matching shade to the undereyes, around the nose and mouth. spot conceal with high pigment cream as necessary. then show off those mesmerizing high shine cream and gelee powder blushes and bronzers you save for rainy days buffed into the highpoints until all product has been depositted before buffing over the rest of the face for a seemless finish. set and powder where needed or where matte finish is desired.
oh dont forget to pull those color products high under the outer corner of your eye to flesh out your cheeks, as well as in the crease and through the brow to keep it cohesive and maintain dimension. A cream contour or a [Jamie Genevieve uses] nice neutral brown concealer to wash other the eyes and in the hollows of the cheek to ad depth in lower-light settings.
Hi Michele: The 4.5 looks like it has alot of pink in it from the Armani website model pics. What have you found? Armani rep told me 4.5 has an equal amount of pink/yellow in it. It came off so pink on their website. The Nordstrom beauty rep told me #3 would be better for me and I have similar color in foundation to you. May have to try a few and see what works. The #4 is definitely a light yellow yet there is one beauty blogger who says the #4 is peach. Armani could make this selection process easier somehow?

It’s so great and definitely helps me buy online!! The swatches aren’t always the best to go off of on the web sites. I have more normal/dry skin and this was beautiful on!! Good morning my friend 💕. I enjoy a Lumosity to a concealer I like the brightness under my eyes. I could not tell the difference on you at all, but I was hoping it took out some of the redness of mr eczema patch. I get them when I switch makeup a lot, or try new things. I heard Miss Butters playing with her toy outside lol. I think this is a put on the buy list. Love ya 💕
Michelle I have super dry skin like you do. I’m 57, very dry skin, partly because of my age and partly because I have Sjögren’s syndrome. I too get a patch of eczema on my face. It’s always on the left side of my mouth. We will see how this covers up I may have to try it 😊
Love your rings‼️‼️‼️‼️ I recently developed a red rash like patches, and I thought it was my retinol cream reaction, for days my skin was super dry, now its good but haven’t used the retinol again. Anyhow, don’t know if eczema suddenly develops. How random, but love your videos‼️
I think I need to try that concealer as I like the Armani power stretch. I like the Dior, but I think I got the wrong shade - it's a little dark for me. I am liking the Kosas concealer. So yes, this is the year of concealers!
Those damn eczema patches! I get them too and I have only ever found a combo of aquaphor and la mer lotion that works to make them go away..like why does my eczema act boujie 😂

I’m so glad you like this because other reviewers prefer the power fabric but I have dry under eyes and I don’t need or like full coverage and I love the LS foundation. Definitely want to try this in store . Do you think the concealer number and foundation are a match. I wear 5 in LS foundation.

Maybe you’re getting to a point where you’re not going to want to powder much under the eyes anymore. I like the By Terry Rose powder-just a hint, when I want to powder under the eyes. Or maybe it’s just not a concealer that works well with powder. I’ve been on the fence about this one because I like the idea that it’s moisturizing but I also don’t want the hollows under my eyes (I have deep set eyes) accentuated.. if that makes sense? Thanks for the review! Hoping this comes to Sephora or Nordstroms.

I didn't know that I had two deep lines (divets) under my eyes until I started using concealer on a regular basis. Amazing what is hiding on our faces lol. I do know that I cannot use powder with any concealer I choose

Barbara Bailey Thanks for the question 🌟 I use the stick concealer, but I’ve also used and reviewed the corrector. For me I pull for the stick because it’s just faster for me to apply and the SPF helps keep my dark spots from getting darker. The corrector is beautiful for lighter coverage on me though. If you have access to a Cle de Peau counter, sometimes they have blister packs of the products to try first.

I use Armani full coverage concealer and I really enjoy it. Their pink color corrector combined with that concealer is everything my life needs .

Not the biggest fan of Hourglass - it's only OK IMHO. I'd go with Armani if you're concerned with dryness.

I can confidently say this concealer works well for an oily skin type as well! I can leave it unpowdered and it holds up throughout the day.

Good morning my friend 💕. I enjoy a Lumosity to a concealer I like the brightness under my eyes. I could not tell the difference on you at all, but I was hoping it took out some of the redness of mr eczema patch. I get them when I switch makeup a lot, or try new things. I heard Miss Butters playing with her toy outside lol. I think this is a put on the buy list. Love ya 💕

Michelle I have super dry skin like you do. I’m 57, very dry skin, partly because of my age and partly because I have Sjögren’s syndrome. I too get a patch of eczema on my face. It’s always on the left side of my mouth. We will see how this covers up I may have to try it 😊

I think I need to try that concealer as I like the Armani power stretch. I like the Dior, but I think I got the wrong shade - it's a little dark for me. I am liking the Kosas concealer. So yes, this is the year of concealers!

Those damn eczema patches! I get them too and I have only ever found a combo of aquaphor and la mer lotion that works to make them go away..like why does my eczema act boujie 😂

Hello Michele! I just ordered the Dior concealer and am waiting for its arrival. I too have dry skin and I have aging skin. Do you like this one better, or equal to the new Dior? beautiful! i also decluttered my power fabric. maybe ill try this one next for under eyes. (i use different concealer/foundation/shade for chin/nose/forehead)

Hi Michele, I am still using my TF Emotion proof concealer- not sure where to go once I am done with it. I also have very, very dry skin including my under eye so this one looks promising. The hunt for the perfect concealer continues. 😍

I’m so glad you like this because other reviewers prefer the power fabric but I have dry under eyes and I don’t need or like full coverage and I love the LS foundation. Definitely want to try this in store . Do you think the concealer number and foundation are a match. I wear 5 in LS foundation.

Thank you Michele for this great wear test of the new Armani Concealer! As my skin is more on the combination side, I think I will go with your recommendation and try the Dior one first. I would love to have a concealer that I can use for spots here and there all over my face and feel confident to go out around my day, and from all what you say and show, it looks like the Dior concealer may be the perfect one for me! Maybe you’re getting to a point where you’re not going to want to powder much under the eyes anymore. I like the By Terry Rose powder-just a hint, when I want to powder under the eyes. Or maybe it’s just not a concealer that works well with powder. I’ve been on the fence about this one because I like the idea that it’s moisturizing but I also don’t want the hollows under my eyes (I have deep set eyes) accentuated.. if that makes sense? Thanks for the review! Hoping this comes to Sephora or Nordstroms.

I'm not the biggest fan of the HG - it's good, but not great. the Armani is better IMHO.
Girl can you please pair this with the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush pressed powder I’m sure it will give a different look moreover summers are just round the corner so a bit of powder will be necessary so please girl pair it with a different powder n let us know

I didn't know that I had two deep lines (divets) under my eyes until I started using concealer on a regular basis. Amazing what is hiding on our faces lol. I do know that I cannot use powder with any concealer I choose

Everyday Edit which Cle de Peau do you use, the stick with spf or the corrector?
Barbara Bailey Thanks for the question 🌟 I use the stick concealer, but I’ve also used and reviewed the corrector. For me I pull for the stick because it’s just faster for me to apply and the SPF helps keep my dark spots from getting darker. The corrector is beautiful for lighter coverage on me though. If you have access to a Cle de Peau counter, sometimes they have blister packs of the products to try first.
