The power fabric creases unless i tap it lightly with the Zoeva 142 concealer brush. After that I set it with By Terry Rosy Light or Hourglass powder and that's a seamless combination. It's actually the only concealer that looks this good and I've got you to thank

I feel for you!! My asthma/allergies have been crazy lately!! Coughing up a storm, thank god for Symicort, Benedryl, and new cough drops ( Halls Soothe/honey vanilla). Not as strong as the red ones, but great for a cough. You always look amazing, even if you aren’t feeling that good!! Get better soon🙂
🤔 Hmm I wonder how mixing these two concealers would work for me... at times the power fabric can be slightly dry looking on me. Could you take one for the team, Mel, and try mixing them? It’s super extra, I know 😝💕

I bought both 4.5 and 5 before I saw this. I have no tan but I’m fairly dark in the summer so my light isn’t too light. I hope that these work out. I look forward to trying them
I know that you know way more than me about makeup lol but one thing I have learned with concealer is to put some on before foundation and then some on top of my foundation. Just thought I'd share!! Love your videos!!

Mel, great review... However I will continue to the apply GA Power Fabric Concealer in the shade #6. On my workout days I apply Born This Way and love it also. With Milk or Huda powders.
Thank you for doing this comparison video, It was very helpful. I love the power fabric concealer, and wanted to try the luminous silk one as well, but I have large pores on the sides of my nose, in that triangle area, and I wouldn't want this concealer to accentuate my large pores more so.

Hi Mel! 💕 I agree with you, in fact I also did a review and comparison between the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk vs Power Fabric on my TH-cam channel 🥰and the main discouragement was that neither of them cover my dark circles😩, mine are serious, for longevity they need to be powdered, which for a person with lots of fines lines gets tricky. Both concealers have a beautiful finish nonetheless. 💕Great review love and I wish I can turn the clock ⏰ back in time to have alike to your beautiful under eyes. Have a beautiful weekend Mel! 😘💖
This made me curious, I’ve recently fell in LOVE with the Tarte shape tape glow wand. I’m not a shape tape girl(I’m in my 40’s) I’ve found one layer of a regular concealer, then adding the glow wand in two small dots. (More to add a bright lumi “glow “ ) But like you said, if you powder you can’t keep that.(luckily I work from home and most of the time only have to be “done” from the waist up lol) So “all day wear” isn’t really necessary. I think I might invest in both of these IF I can figure out a shade. Thanks Mel.
Have you tried the Tarte Creaseless concealer? I’m 46 and it’s my holy grail. It never creases, doesn’t look dry, is dewy and I don’t have to use powder.
I have the Power Fabric, at your recommendation, and love it, everything you say is true, but trust me when I say, go to Sephora, right now, and get the KOSAS concealer!!! I got it yesterday, (not that I needed it, but I collect concealers) and this one is an instant HG, straight to the top of my list!!! I applied it with fingers over Neutrogena hyaluronic acid glow primer serum, followed by MAC prep anmd prime natural radiance and MAC waterweight foundation, and I even applied a little more product than usual, and it looks so BEAUTIFUL< so natural and has this divine hydrated type of glow going.... but no creases under the eyes, Im not setting this at all and it looks AMAZING!!! I might try the Luminous silk , I wasnt in love with the foundation though, but I do love Power Fabric. But hey for someone who runs out and buys every new high end concealer that I can, this Kosas really has me impressed...

Even though I'm in my 50's I look better in a matte concealer! I never noticed any dryness with Shape Tape and I go back to all the time but have issues with their color choices certain months of the year (Jan-May) plus being a light/medium extremely cool-toned person. You're one of the few people I've heard say you prefer the same shade (or about) concealer as your foundation, me too! Wow, nobody gets that. While I don't have discoloration, I do have what I think are deep circles and when I wear lighter shade concealers they are more visible! I think there are many women out there who would benefit from the same technique, but it's rarely talked about... Nevertheless, after trying just about every concealer (probably my fav next to powders) on the market I can't believe I haven't tried either of the Armani's! I always forget about them?! I'm ordering the Power Fabric today thanks to your video it's helped me decide without question! Thanks for sharing 😊. Xo
Hi Mel! Diehard Power Fabric user here too :). I was super curious about the LS. Appears to be a completely different animal than the PF. I now use Tati’s Blendiful to apply my concealer and it has made me love my Power Fabric even more. Looks so much better than when I use a sponge. I did order Mother’s new concealer and powder. Can’t wait to give it a try. Thank you so much for the video and comparisons. Super helpful!💕
The Power Fabric is my go-to concealer for under the eyes, and I love the Luminous Silk Foundation, and so I am so glad you did this comparison! I need coverage big time, which means that no matter what concealer I use I have to use a corrector under it. I also have more mature skin that tends to be dry. I’m thinking I’ll need to get to Sephora and try the LSC over my color corrector to see how the coverage looks then. Not looking crepey is a big plus for me, but I don’t find that the PFC looks particularly crepey on me. My guess is that, even with corrector, the coverage won’t be enough for my circles. I LOVE the GA power fabric concealer and I love it because of you. I do have it in shades 5 & 3 and I like using 3 more but they are both amazing! I’m so bummed about the coconut derived product in it. I don’t normally have issues unless it coco oil but better safe than sorry. I ordered the Pat McGrath concealer yesterday but not the powder. I hope I like it way more than the foundation and loose setting powder. 😻🥰😻

Excellent comparison, thank you Mel! Based on your review i think i may stay with my power fabric concealer for now, may need to get a darker shade tho... I also lately concluded that nor only luminous, but also the brightening concealers of the same type under eyes are not always making a better effect. And it feels like they provide less coverage, like more transparent? I may try new concealer with the sample on occasion, but for now i am almost sure that i prefer power formula :)
So I finally jumped on the bandwagon and bought this (power fabric) a couple days ago LOL I had a packet sample for so long finally tried it the other day and immediately loved it like I love how it says to a powdery finished I just love it at first by the end of the day or when I get off work and look in the mirror oh my God my eyes look like they've aged 30 years so dry crusty almost so now I'm a little scared since I bought the full size but I'm going to try it and hope that it was just a sample! Lol this might be the better option! Lol 💕🤗

Q? What empty pallets do you recommend for the Sydney Grace shadows? I was looking at single eyeshadows and found your video on Sidney Grace and that you love it over 2 other brands I was considering. I put my ? first so if you have a chance to answer that would be terrific. I have 17 colors so I’m going to have to pair down a lot but it’s hard looking on the iPhone to decide. So surprised they don’t have holders.

Mel, you are my go to reviewer! But... I used the GA power fabric concealer for the second time today - I gave it a second chance because of your review! It just doesn’t hold up for me. Any tears or eye watering and it’s gone. It is also more creasing than Hourglass IMO. I’m wondering if you’ve tested it on a day where you’ve cried or had watery eyes 🤩 I’ve found Hourglass Vanish Airbrush to be a better concealer that passes the water test.
I am definitely intrigued and want to try this in the future I just recently got the powder fabric Bc of you lol & also urban decay concealer which I enjoy bother a lot other than I got way too light of a shade in armani but I def do want to try the luminous one . I agree with you I’m not into super bright under eyes like I used to be especially Bc I get more dry sometimes I feel like it can really show off that more so I like it to be maybe a tad lighter than my skin tone if not the same color if possible . Is it bad that Mel has officially gotten me to buy three of these powers fabric concealers 😂👏🏼👏🏼I almost bought the luminous silk new concealer but changed my mind at the last second.. 5.5 on fabric concealer was too dark 3 was too light so now I'm going for a 4 hopefully third times a charm.. i'm trying to get away from tart shape tape and Girl you got me convinced that power fabric concealer is going to work I just need to find the right color in luminous foundation I wear 5.5.. The struggle is real but you swear by this so it's gonna work for me 🤞🏻

Hey Mel If someone is allergic to cockroaches, like me, they can't use the the Power Fabric It contains an ingredient called Undecane. Undecane is a liquid alkane hydrocarbon with the chemical formula CH₃(CH₂)₉CH₃. It is used as a mild sex attractant for various types of moths and cockroaches. I don't know why it's in there. Just an FYI. ❤
@@AVA-MARIA If you're not allergic to cockroaches, you shouldn't have a problem. I do and had a problem. This was just a heads-up. I don't know what the use of this ingredient has in cosmetics, but, so far, I just found it in this one product. HTH

Excellent comparison, thank you Mel! Based on your review i think i may stay with my power fabric concealer for now, may need to get a darker shade tho... I also lately concluded that nor only luminous, but also the brightening concealers of the same type under eyes are not always making a better effect. And it feels like they provide less coverage, like more transparent? I may try new concealer with the sample on occasion, but for now i am almost sure that i prefer power formula :)

So I finally jumped on the bandwagon and bought this (power fabric) a couple days ago LOL I had a packet sample for so long finally tried it the other day and immediately loved it like I love how it says to a powdery finished I just love it at first by the end of the day or when I get off work and look in the mirror oh my God my eyes look like they've aged 30 years so dry crusty almost so now I'm a little scared since I bought the full size but I'm going to try it and hope that it was just a sample! Lol this might be the better option! Lol 💕🤗

I was thinking of picking up this concealer, but thanks for letting us know about it containing coconut derivatives. I can't use any products that contain coconut, I get horrible breakouts. 😩😩. Glad to see you are feeling better.....hugs, love and prayers always. 😘😘😘😘

Q? What empty pallets do you recommend for the Sydney Grace shadows? I was looking at single eyeshadows and found your video on Sidney Grace and that you love it over 2 other brands I was considering. I put my ? first so if you have a chance to answer that would be terrific. I have 17 colors so I’m going to have to pair down a lot but it’s hard looking on the iPhone to decide. So surprised they don’t have holders.

OMG 🥰 what a game changer! I have gone through more concealer in my 56yrs than I care to mention...and seen a lot of duds. Not the power fabric. I think I’m gonna pass on the luminous one. Mel, you are my go to reviewer! But... I used the GA power fabric concealer for the second time today - I gave it a second chance because of your review! It just doesn’t hold up for me. Any tears or eye watering and it’s gone. It is also more creasing than Hourglass IMO. I’m wondering if you’ve tested it on a day where you’ve cried or had watery eyes 🤩 I’ve found Hourglass Vanish Airbrush to be a better concealer that passes the water test.
I am definitely intrigued and want to try this in the future I just recently got the powder fabric Bc of you lol & also urban decay concealer which I enjoy bother a lot other than I got way too light of a shade in armani but I def do want to try the luminous one . I agree with you I’m not into super bright under eyes like I used to be especially Bc I get more dry sometimes I feel like it can really show off that more so I like it to be maybe a tad lighter than my skin tone if not the same color if possible . Is it bad that Mel has officially gotten me to buy three of these powers fabric concealers 😂👏🏼👏🏼I almost bought the luminous silk new concealer but changed my mind at the last second.. 5.5 on fabric concealer was too dark 3 was too light so now I'm going for a 4 hopefully third times a charm.. i'm trying to get away from tart shape tape and Girl you got me convinced that power fabric concealer is going to work I just need to find the right color in luminous foundation I wear 5.5.. The struggle is real but you swear by this so it's gonna work for me 🤞🏻

If someone is allergic to cockroaches, like me, they can't use the the Power Fabric
It contains an ingredient called Undecane. Undecane is a liquid alkane hydrocarbon with the chemical formula CH₃(CH₂)₉CH₃. It is used as a mild sex attractant for various types of moths and cockroaches. I don't know why it's in there. Just an FYI. ❤
