GUATEMALA CITY (Authentic Guatemala street food and city tour)

Join us for an authentic Guatemala street food and city tour in the one and only Guatemala City!
On this Guatemala City tour, we ate some of the BEST and CHEAPEST street food that Guatemala has to offer. We stuffed our bellies with delicious and authentic Guatemalan food over two days, while seeing some amazing historical sites. The first day we spent at vendors around Zone One, which despite being where all the historical buildings are, is where locals get their street food! On the second day we visited the biggest local market in the city and sampled some Guatemalan cuisine while exploring its winding alleyways.
Also, we give our thoughts on whether we think Guatemala City is dangerous. Stay to the end to make up your mind whether you feel safe travelling here or not.

That white powder on the Elote (street corn) is usually Cotija Cheese. Although, I've used Parmesan and/or Queso Fresco, because Cotija can be pungent sometimes.
Tamalito (translates to "little tamale") is like a Tamale, just a little more dry.
Relleno (pronounced reh-YEH-no) just means stuffed.
The one broth she called "Marisco", which means shellfish. "Mar" means sea.
Nieve literally means snow.

*IZZIEANDDALE* 🤔 The secret ingredient of the *Elotes Locos* or cooked cobs. It is dry organic cheese. It's what gives it a salty taste. And the other ingredients are: Mayonnaise, Ketchup, Chilli, and Mustard. *Shucos* is a variable of the American Hot dog😉🇬
