Thank you to wotnot for putting these clips together. My only gripe about this show is the complete lack of a "control" elsewhere when testing these events.
And what would your suggestion be to control things?? I mean we're talking about am astrophysicist and a lead investigator that are running these tests. So what can you bring to the table that would be better?????
And you think a control is required in this experiment? So they move the laser to a location off the ranch, what do you think is going to happen to the laser? That's right, it is going to go straight up for as far as the eye can see, it isn't going to stop dead at a couple of thousand feet, ending in a brigher patch at the end of the beam. Now, you knew that, and so does everybody else. We knew that because we know how light beams work, we know that because many people have shone light beams up into the sky for decades all over the world. We KNOW what the normal behaviour of a light beam is. Do you still think a control experiment is still required in *_this_* scenario?
@TravisSTaylor-m6s you mean you saw my comment because my comment was directed to the person that made this thread. But to answer your question, yes, I like the show.
Already just watched this on TV but now just wanted to message you something when the two beams split into X just by curiosity both of those well doesn’t matter which one but is that X north or south East or West?
Anybody notice that during this episode, while doing the laser experiment, Thomas' jacket changed between shots? He started with a camo sweatshirt, then when he ran up on the mesa it changed to a black zip up jacket, then once down by the others again it went back to the camo jacket. Is Thomas a shape shifter? 😉
If you had your own personal drone you could see the beam more actually rather than shooting rocket's up with no video on your rocket's since you got ever other instruments on these rockets i keep pondering 🤔
Maybe it is a microscopic Black hole, that is absorbing the laser beam, and not letting any light get out ? They should try to scan for x ray emissions from the area of the black hole, as we all know that x rays CAN be emitted from the black hole.... ?
Stream the whole show from season 1 episode 1 to season 5 to episode 8. This is nothing like Gold Rush or Bigfuck hunters. It's shit that's really happening on the ranch and has been since the 60's and 70's.

Try to scan the sky fast with the strong laser to get a bigger picture
Need a drone to fly up and check it out.
It's exactly what I was thinking

Erick is only missing 1 monitor with the status of the value of world stocks x)
@TravisSTaylor-m6s
Of course, if the rest don't understand absolutely anything about physics, it's not my problem.
@TravisSTaylor-m6s About two years ago... I haven't finished watching session 5, I've only been watching it recently, they are a great team

Continuity guy was having a bad day
they use different cuts all the time for filler shots.
Its hitting the firmament ✝️

Wow!.
