I finally understood of what the opera was about. Zampa’s betrayal of his first love for Alice and after to which she died, the statue of her made in her memory, Zampa who placed the ring on her finger as a ‘joke’ to which magically revived her since the ring, originally belonged to her thought he took it from her when he decided to become a pirate? And then the jealous statue of Alice, brought to life by that ring that Zampa took away from her, she engaged herself with a revenge upon Zampa and as a punishment, forcefully considered Zampa as her eternal lover who will never again be a free man to marry anyone, but to Alice as forever condemned in abomination for his cheating on her.
