I have a MacBook Pro from 2015, and recently purchased a Mac mini. I would like to ask if I can use a Mac mini as the host for my MacBook, but operate it with my MacBook. Thank you
2015 MacBook Pro can be used as monitor, could save yrself buying monitor, but some people like big monitors. Also depends on type things U want to do. You can trial and error and see if u like the working of screen mirror
@@danw.7935 I was able to use the track pad as macpro can function by its own and with screen sharing, U can also use macpro as monitor temporarily if U haven't buy monitor
@@paramita188 When you did the set up through that monitor what did you do for you to use your Mac book pro as the main screen for the Mac mini? Thanks.
@2012MAGOMERLIN when setting up, go to system setting / General/ Sharing/ screen sharing ( might to type yr admin user and password)/select yes(will turn blue) for screen sharing. Ensure remote management is off. Once screen sharing is on, 🔵 click on the "I" info right beside, it will tell you screen sharing is on and when U type your IP or device name u will able to share screen. Hope is helpful for you. Ensure you connect to same wifi server
First you have to setup yr Mac min with Tv monitor first. I have short video quick instruction how to do screen sharing under " general setting", then U can screen share with yr new Mac pro. Without screen share from Mac mini. How that helps
I have a MacBook Pro and I use it with an external monitor with HDMi. I am thinking of buying Mac mini M2. I want to use the display of my MacBook Pro and the external monitor together as an extended display with it. Will this be possible?
I am not sure if Apple made any changes on Mac mini M2, if no changes made, I don’t see why not possible. Again each case could be different based on the model of your MacBook Pro, the year, software update, wifi, etc. Good luck :)

what if I connect mini via thunderbolt to macbook?
I never tried, but I think it should work as long you setup with the permission. Let me know how it goes :)
I loved your persistence 😊
Thank you for yr patience and ❤️
Seems like you are able to operate the trackpad and keyboard through the Mac mini? Is that correct? Thanks
There is USB c port U can use for connection, or can use wireless as well depending on how U want to set it up

Hi the quality was alright, using mirroring, could be better though
