The green park at Brooks street in Uyo, Ibom plaza in Uyo, Ibibio Union Museum and Unity Park, Ibom Tropicana Mall, Ibom Hall grounds and Nigeria civil war memorial, the blue River in Ukanafun, the green River in Ibesikpo Asutan, Oron beach in Oron, National museum in Oron, etc.
Thank you so much for this. ♥️♥️♥️ You see that Ibibio Unity Museum, I purposely left it out o. It’s not functioning plus I had a very bad experience the last time I visited. Some other people had bad experiences too. That’s why I left it out. I’ll check out the rest of the places during my next visit.
Tilapia Island resort in Abak, enjoy the ambience of the green vegetation of the Abak valley, the stream around the resort and the view of the tall Abak Bridge.
Thank you so much for this information. Prior to this, I had never heard about the resort. I checked online for photos & I like what I see. I'll most definitely include it in my list of places to visit when next I'm in Akwa Ibom. Thanks once again.
😂😂😂😂 Number 13 wins every single time. 😂 I know you will someday. At least whenever you're ready to explore, this video could help you know where you should start from. 😁
Ok, nice collection of places to visit. Though you missed a few such as Ibom connection in Uyo (similar to raffia city plaza in Ikot Ekpene, you also missed Ibibio museum and Christmas village, the the park on Brook Street is really nice. Some of these newly developed factories might actually be nice places for excursions as I remember visiting Eagle cement and RIV biscuits in Port Harcourt many years back on excursion. I feel Oron as a town is often overlooked by nearly everyone and also has some history and notable places like maritime Academy and the waterfront/beaches close by. Would be nice to see affluent indigenes of the coastal areas develop seaside resorts just like is found in Lagos State. That way, Tourism will improve the State governors for the last three generations from 1999 have done a decent job of providing access roads to nearly everywhere of interest in the state. Is time for the private sector to do their bits
Beautiful! 👏👏 You've raised some good points. Building of nice resorts in the coastal areas would definitely bring people in droves for tourism in the state. Thanks for mentioning other places people can visit in Akwa Ibom. I didn't intend mentioning all of them actually 😁. The video would have been so lengthy. I wanted people to mention the rest in the comment section just like you did. I'm sure the information you shared will be useful to people who read your comment. ❤ Ibibio museum isn't fully open to tourists at the moment. I visited earlier this year and had an awful experience, same with some other people who visited. Anyways, we hope for the best in the tourism sector. Thanks once again.
Hi Vera, tourism is such a big business in some countries, they make it so attractive and people love to visit. You're so brilliant,I like your creative packaged. Dr,Sam.
🥰first thing first, what part/location in Uyo is perfect to stay that u can easily access all dese locations….how’s their transportation rate like too? What do we need to watch out for there(security wise) plus is there any tour guid we can get in contact with that can take us around?
Oh! Hi Bae Bi To, I’m so sorry I totally missed this particular question. I hope you were finally able to visit. Please let me know if you still need answers. I could point you in the right direction
Yes o! I like to be very clear. Make person no catch me for road beat me with broom because I said there’s waterfall in Akwa Ibom but they only saw water. 😂😂😂
How’s the transportation like there, is there Uber and taxify? And where do you hv to stay to hv easy access all dese places in terms of distance… thank u ☺️
Transportation is actually cheap in Akwa Ibom. Apart from the regular tricycles, there’s Bolt (cars & tricycles). You can stay in Uyo, that’s the state capital, & move from there to other places. The longest journey might be the one to Ikot Abasi which may take up to two hours from Uyo, but since the roads are good, you can easily go there, explore, & go back to Uyo the same day. You can reach out to me on Instagram @iamverafrank if you’d love to visit the places you intend visiting with someone.

Akwa ibom ought to have been more developed that this, with access to crude oil, no employment, nothing happening, even with access to the sea.
I totally agree with you. Let’s see what the new government will do about the situation.
Drip contents
Thank you!!
