Fascinating video! I see that the sun is in a different direction in the sky at 10:45am between the solstices - the winter sun is much further right than the summer sun. If I skip forward to 11:45am then the summer sun is still to the left of the winter sun, so it can't just be the daylight savings difference. It could be due to the solar noon difference perhaps

@@Iceman2606Wx Me too. I was going to do a Photo-Lapse for a Whole Year from 1 Mar 22 - 28 Feb 23 just like Scott did in 2015 but I forgot unfortunately!
In that video, during the summer solstice, nighttime is short, the sunrise comes early, daytime is long, and the sunset comes late. Then, during the winter solstice, daytime is short, the sunset comes early, nighttime is long, and the sunrise comes late. So, it's opposite.
@@JakeFn1612It depends on the latitude. The UK is further north of the equator than Australia is south, so there's a larger difference in length of daylight between the summer and winter. The only inhabited places at the equivalent latitude to England in the southern hemisphere are Patagonia and the Falkland islands, where the length of daylight in the summer is also similar.
I love living in a country that gets such big variation in daylight throughout the year.
Excellent work Iceman on this!
Thank you! Cheers!
I absolutely love it! I love your videos

The solar noon on the summer solstice is about four minutes later taking out daylight saving time.

lmao on the summer solstice the sun rises at like 4am, that would never happen in australia where I'm from
4:40 am ish
How does australia not get more sun during the summer months. Isnt it very far south. So shouldnt it get lots?

What app did you use to edit this
The 2 time-lapses were paired up in Canva and the text and music were added in Windows Movie Maker.

Get out of this channel then if you don't like it.
Its not like he would move to somewhere else to film like a 5 minute video.
