Yes. I was expecting the New Zealand sunrise to be much earlier on the summer solstice. New Zealand (Wellington) is at latitude 41* S. The UK is at 54* N. That 13 degrees makes the difference of 2 hours 02 minutes between sunrise. Exact length of the UK summer solstice day of 17 hours and 57 minutes as opposed to 14 hours and 42 minutes. I have to say it looked pretty cold on NZ summer solstice.

It depends on the latitude and time zone ur location follows... Also do you have only one standard time all year round or daylight saving time during summer? My summer solstice is based on daylight saving time. Hence the sunrise is an hour late that standard time else i would have a sunrise just before 5am.
@Jakesucksatfortnite Ok then it will definitely be the latitude. The further away from equator the longer the day in summer and the further east of the time zone longitude the earliest the sunrise. In my case, when i recorded the video i was in Auckland which has a latitude of 36-37°S and the timezone longitude is 180°E which is east of me. Auckland is on 174-175°E so thats west of timezone, hence sunrise is late n sunset is more late.
