Thank you so much very detailed video. Exactly what I was looking for. Since I deleted my bad egr and charcoal canister I was left with many vacuum lines. Thanks to you I know now what to remove and what to keep.
For this video I was only following the FSM for the most average truck for the exhaust/intake and a couple other systems like evap. I didn't include explanations of the 4wd lines as not everyone has those
Hey bro, on 6:45 the line that spilts off to the breaks, i did it the same and noticed my idle goes down to about 700-800 rpm from about 1000 when I press on breaks. Is that normal? I do need to finish off my vacuum lines to the back of the bi-metal vacuum switching valve since the stupid previous owner took them off. You think that could be a cause of it, since it isn't complete?
in your case you're replacing all the lines, but in most cases i use multi colored zip ties to mark all my lines when working on anything with a spaghetti mess of lines. one on the hose and one where it goes. when i run out of colors i use color combos. snip off the ends and leave em on. they look ok and make any future projects easier
Hey what's did u do to make that pcv hose make a bend without problems? I'm trying to find the OEM hose and the dealer wants 47 dollars for that small ass hose
I believe I went on amazon and bought an assortment of 4mm 6mm 8mm and 10mm hoses, all silicon and blue so I knew when I changed one. The color coding there was really just so I knew what I had done lol. All hoses were about 10 ft long and about 5 to 15 bucks per dependent on thickness
You missed the two I need which is at 5:15 below that U shaped hose, to the left of the pair reed and then the one directly under the one your finger is on at 4:04
I don't remember the brand, I found them on eBay as a last resort. I could not find any original or OEM Cross-over exhaust pipes at the time. However, it is a better option as it does take away the issue of heat collecting at the back of the engine. I would search on eBay for your make and model + headers Here is a link found www.protuninglab.com/hds-4runner88-v6.html?id=1752194785332&gclid=CjwKCAjwwL6aBhBlEiwADycBIImJtv-wjCek9VIs0A38E43jMjT6oQPIuV6tGFzGLizdGXxBoExb_BoCP30QAvD_BwE
Will do! The coolant lines in this truck can be tricky. In about a month or so it will be up. If you want to look at some diagrams you can check out here ether3al.com/93fsm-mobile/
For the vacuum lines, I searched amazon for blue vacuum hose sizes 4 through 12mm all evens. Found upgr8t brand. They are cheap, solid product. As for the blue silicon coolant hoses. That's from HPS. They make and sell a kit for each model of our truck
I did the 621 headers on this engine to negate the over heating at the back of engine due to the original cross ovee design. I am in AZ so I need to pass emissions. I hand bent some piping to keep the egr systems intact.
Lost at a.c. Lines and the power steering lines. They don't match up right.Try to make a video adding the lines one by one.And go slower ..problems areas the rest a.c. The power steering lines
Hey! I know I go quick, it's actually something I try to do lol I hate long winded videos. If I'm too fast, use the slow feature and mute me once you know what I'm talking about. It should extend the video and show everything I'm talking about If that doesn't work. I do plan in 2026 to restart this channel and go from fsm page one through the whole book. So be on the look out. Sorry if I can't help sooner!
You confuse To much I think if you remove all the hoses and connect 1 by 1. That’s better. I know your are trying to help but you can do better I know just remember. When you don’t know something is like if your are blind thanks. I ll try to understand any way

This is a life saver. I just lost most of the vacuum lines on the passenger side of the engine bay in a fire and this will greatly help the rebuild
Check out this new fsm someone posted. It might help out!

Are you going to do a EGR delete and a cold air intake ? 🤔
@MTBTexasBikeRider i did do both of those, however before to check state emissions regs before doing so, it can cause fail
Yeah I’m about to do both on my 4Runner it’s legal to do it now it’s over 25 years old! Thanks great video! 👍😎🤘
