The actual film is a Masterpiece. And it definitely is the perfect ending as Stephen Hillenburg had intended for the series. But I will say, despite the first-draft-sounding dialogue and pacing for the ending of this game, and how Spongebob doesn’t get the promotion he so clearly deserves, I actually almost prefer this ending over the film ending, or at least what happens at 6:50-7:03. I say this because here BOTH Spongebob and Patrick are given equal credit for saving the day, something that I felt was lacking in the film. Plus, I would’ve liked to see them share another group hug with Mindy because the three of them are a cute trio of protagonists and the two of them should totally thank her for being their moral compass and biggest supporter. In fact, it’s nice that in this version, Patrick and Mindy aren’t thrown to the side and forgotten just to focus on Spongebob, like the rest of them don’t matter at all. Plus, I like the narrator’s closer about box office. Thank god that despite being released during a crappy time period for 2D films, this film still made a decent profit.
Its sad to know that not everyone likes Spongebob😪 How can they resist his awesomeness like this level? This is my childhood and always will be. Both this game and movie are legendary👌

@@johnboona4048 Maybe…. But he has his Goofy Goober Guitar as a move in the game, and also unlike in the Movie, SpongeBob actually can fight the Thugs and beat the snot outta Dennis. It’s not seen onscreen but he does save everyone else meaning he must’ve broken all the helmets without being a wizard. A bit confusing to say the least. I guess we could say they are both pretty OP. Definitely stronger than SpongeBob in the Episodes.
Interesting how they animated the photographs of SpongeBob running as manager seen in the end credits, being animated a little bit. Plus, that sequel joke, it took them around 11 years to do another one. Another 6 years to do the 3rd film, and as of this post, next year would be the 4th movie., which took them 5 years for that one. 7:27-9:10 Happy 20th Anniversary to this movie the game was a tie-in as of this post.

This game is a shitty edition of Bikini Bottom. Pros: It's based on the Movie. The most godly Nickelodeon Movie. Cons: Reused assets. Shitty FMVs. Horrendous backtracking. Uninspired extras. No Sandy. Good Value David Hasselhoff. It spoils the whole movie! I rather play The Rugrats Movie on Game Boy than this!

@@NaviVani-dev I kind of agree with Chris. This game with the really clunky driving controls, and pretty strict token requirements do make this game a little annoying. The difficulty spike with the missions are insane, the driving challenges, the guitar wave challenges, the god dang arena challenges, and even that gauntlet boss arena thing in planktopolis or whatever. I understand that the farther you progress in a game the harder it gets, but they went way too overboard sometimes especially with the token requirement that is very strict. Forgot to mention this, but this is also a children's game, so I'm sure many children couldn't beat the game, got help from someone, or took a very long time to beat it.
