This may sound cringey or awkward but this theme literally fills me with determination. That I am going to follow my dreams and that my hope of a good future will come true someday. Whenever I had a very important exam that I can't fail I always listened to Hopes and Dreams on the way. You can't believe how ready and optimistic I felt, I believed in myself more than ever before. I am so glad that this theme exists and how it helped me to be ready for any challenge school threw at me.
Undertale deserved every single bit of love that it has, except the fandom of course, BUT this is a game we will never forget for the rest of our lives you can't deny that. The music, the characters, the story, it's probably one of the most unique yet simple games made and nothing will ever be able to accomplish what undertale did.

Ughh the amount of joy and heroism I felt when I reached this part of the game on passive was incredible. I was pretty late to the boat on Undertale, I only played it for the first time a couple months ago. But this moment, of all the emotional moments in Undertale, is the one that really got to me. Seeing this twisted monstrosity that used to be an innocent child, who can take on many forms by taking lives, but the forms are never true and pure...a being who's lived a thousand lives, trying everything, only to be hopelessly bound to relive his experiences for an eternity...a being that fully understands that he can accomplish everything and nothing at all... I looked at the scarred face of what once used to be the son of Asgore and Toriel. I looked at his clothes that his own mother made for him. As the music swelled, reprising the title theme, the weight of what this child has been through broke my heart. "It's the end." I set the controller down and began sobbing. I had looked god in the eyes, and he was nothing more than a scared child. And that broke me down. I don't think the ending to a video game has ever hurt my feelings as much as the Pacifist ending of Undertale. Comforting Asriel is one of the most fantastic moments I've experienced in a game.
Just finished the game myself for the first time yesterday and… yeah. Fuck, I almost broke down crying because, in the end, he was just a kid. He was a kid who wanted his sibling back. But he couldn’t bring them back. He never could. The whole time we were playing his game. Pretending to be his sibling. Using their name. The fact that they give you the choice is important. Because that’s what gives us that emotional response, and it’s so masterfully written. It would have been a great scene if there was no choice. If we comforted Asriel anyway. But the fact that we HAVE the choice, and that we choose to do it, is what elevates that scene for me.

For all the people curious about the fact that Asriel is wearing Toriel’s clothes, I think I may have an explanation: His clothes are similar to his mother’s because of his place in the royal family, as you can see his clothes are not equal to his mother’s (there are some differences in the shoulders and neck), I think that this clothes are not necesarily women clothes, but the clothes designed to the prince of the underground, plus, he has a more similar look to Asgore’s clothes in his final form, meaning that he is beyond the rank of prince AND even the king itself
This theme is another masterpiece from Undertale. It perfectly shows the the situation. Frisk, even after having so many friends, they could not defeat Flowey and then Asriel comes and traps their souls. The strong metal and guitar music depicts the heat of the boss fight and we can also hear lighter music and even violin making us know that the fight is not only a duel but also the moving of someone to the correct side of life, the side of harmony, friendship and forgiveness. Undertale is truly a masterpiece.

I think this was probably the best produced song of its time, and still now. The song portrays hope and determination to fight. The entire fight was about freeing her and the other souls from being trapped. I think it’s really cool how the song changes from classical to rock and then like some sort of flute or smth. Idk, it mixes beautifully. The song gives me goosebumps, and chills. The entire fight, again, being about freeing souls was awesome. Being one of the hardest fights too makes it better. I honestly think the motivator when you played was when you freed souls and they gave you that “i’m cheering you on!!” and the music hyped back up. 20/10. Best song i’ve probably ever listened to.

For all the people curious about the fact that Asriel is wearing Toriel’s clothes, I think I may have an explanation:
His clothes are similar to his mother’s because of his place in the royal family, as you can see his clothes are not equal to his mother’s (there are some differences in the shoulders and neck), I think that this clothes are not necesarily women clothes, but the clothes designed to the prince of the underground, plus, he has a more similar look to Asgore’s clothes in his final form, meaning that he is beyond the rank of prince AND even the king itself

This theme is another masterpiece from Undertale. It perfectly shows the the situation. Frisk, even after having so many friends, they could not defeat Flowey and then Asriel comes and traps their souls. The strong metal and guitar music depicts the heat of the boss fight and we can also hear lighter music and even violin making us know that the fight is not only a duel but also the moving of someone to the correct side of life, the side of harmony, friendship and forgiveness. Undertale is truly a masterpiece.

I think this was probably the best produced song of its time, and still now.
The song portrays hope and determination to fight.
The entire fight was about freeing her and the other souls from being trapped. I think it’s really cool how the song changes from classical to rock and then like some sort of flute or smth. Idk, it mixes beautifully. The song gives me goosebumps, and chills.
The entire fight, again, being about freeing souls was awesome. Being one of the hardest fights too makes it better.
I honestly think the motivator when you played was when you freed souls and they gave you that “i’m cheering you on!!” and the music hyped back up.
20/10. Best song i’ve probably ever listened to.
