Hey man I just love your channel. I’m a new subscriber and I just love your content I mean RAV4 and me is a eye catcher if there ever was one. I love Toyotas and love anybodies content about Toyotas. So keep up the good work and keep sending those videos.
Thing I like about your vids, apart from the great photography and scenic locations, is you’re busting down the image of a RAV4 being just a suburban runabout - keep em coming You have clearly made a considered decision on your wheel tire package - can you guess if you had stayed standard how many times you would have been stuck in the mud. There is a fuel use penalty for the more aggressive wheel/tire choice and as a 2020 RAV4 Limited owner I’m curious if the change has been worth it for you (or could you have stayed stock ?) Cheers from NZ
Hi! Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to write this comment. For me, switching to these tires was definitely worthwhile. I think the camera doesn't always capture just how rough some of these tracks are, and I really believe I would have been bogged and had punctures with stock tires. Like you say, there's a cost, and for me I think it's worthwhile, but for others it may not be.
Hi, I just subscribed your channel, because I drive RAV4 Hybrid too. When I transfer to the sport mode, the trail mode will have been disappeared, am I only can using the normal mode when i'm driving off road? Could you please advise? Thank you.
Thanks for subscribing! The layout of the dial and buttons may be misleading: You can be in Sport Mode or you can be in Normal mode or you can be in Trail mode. You can't be in both Sport and Trail, or both Sport and Normal. I hope that makes sense.
In Mexico any taxi, like a Tsuru from Nissan makes the same kind of roads. And they are 2wd. Almost any car in third world makes this kind of roads. I would want to watch a real off road video, with some hard work for the RAV4
Thanks for commenting. I appreciate the feedback, but I'm more interested in the adventure and serenity, not so much on challenging 4x4ing. Although I do tackle some harder tracks in other videos, it's just not the primary goal.
Well done, now I want one 😂
Brother, the view at the end of this video?!? Epic...seriously epic.
I stumbled upon that spot completely by accident!
@@rav4me what a perfect accident…!
Beautiful video, lovely scenery on a Rav4, what can go wrong? Keep up for the excellent work!
Thanks for the trip 😊
Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
Beautiful car and scenery.
Thanks Johnny!

Thanks for your kind words. I'm currently working on more content, which I'll publish soon.
Great video👍
Thanks!
I enjoyed watching you go over the rough road with your buddy RAV4. I also want to travel with my RAV4.
Thanks for watching! What kind of rav4 do you have? Where would you go?
잘봤습니다.
Thanks for watching!

Btw, I wish I could get the rav4 across to NZ. some of the trails there would be incredible. Such a beautiful place.
Curious how much your mileage (mpg) was impacted by the wheel/tire combo on the hybrid? Love the look of your RAV4.
Thank Brad. Stock tires: 5.6L/100km (42mpg); After AT tires: 6.4L/100km (36.7mpg)
@@rav4methat’s still great for most vehicles! I love your setup.
Где купил багажник на крышу? Можешь дать ссылку?
Sure! There's a link to the roof rack in the video description.
Did you lift the Rav4 to use those tyres?
No, these tires fit with very minor scraping at full lock.
Was that filmed in Australia?
Hi! Yes, that was a few hours from Sydney.
Woodlands edition?
No, just custom wheels and tires 🙂
What trim and year is your RAV4?
2019 GXL AWD. I think it might be available only in Australia, but I haven't checked that.
@@rav4me I see. Yeah, I can't find the trim in the US. We only have XLE, XLE Premium

Thank you very much for your answer!
@@skytechm07 it's definitely louder than the on-road tires, but not as bad as mud terrain tires.

Why did you cut that tree and not just drive over it?
On this occassion I felt there was a risk of damage to the undercarriage.
