It is a good thing you took a course always invest in yourself. I didn't make my channel so girls don't have to take a course. I did it to teach the small things that they forget to mention in training courses. But don't think of it as a waste of time or money. I'm sure you learned the basics

Heyy okay so you have your length down but why in the video your spikes and lengths are flipped like you say spikes is 12 13 14 15 16 17 lengths 9 10 11 12 13 14 but in the video you have the length numbers at the top and the spike numbers at the bottom is it suppose to be like that or is it jus the way you mapping?!
No the top numbers are the spikes and the bottom numbers are the fans/fillers. I always say I'm my videos that the top numbers are my spikes and the bottoms are the filler. Longer lengths are always the spikes. If your looking it on the eyepad. The top numbers are the outer numbers which are the spikes and since they are at the top that means they are going on the top layer of the lashes. The numbers that are closer to the eye are the bottom numbers so they are the filler lenghts. My mapping is correct. I think your looking at it backwards that's why your a little confused.
Wispy sets should always be more because just mapping and typing takes longer since it is a more advance set. So i normally charge $20 more on top of what style it is. So if it's a hybrid i charge for what i would normally charge for a hybrid plus the $20 wispy add on.
No worries hun. But honestly you can do whatever you want. If you a fuller set add more fans if you want a more natural set add more classics. There is no right or wrong way to go about it. If it makes it easier to do classic fan classic fan then stick with that but once you get the hang of it's ok to switch up depending on the fullness that they want. Hopefully that makes sense.

I used about 5-7 (unfanned volume lashes) for the spikes to create that peak. And the fans were 10d and .15 for the classics. I just follow the length on the map written on the pad.
you can definitely use the layering technique with this map. I just posted a video with similar lash map while lashing in layers. hopefully it gives you an idea that you can do it.

If your practicing on a mannequin it's so hard so do it on a real person. If you place on spike at the end that is the building block to where you need to place the next one which will be 2-3 lashes over. It's all up to you how you want your set to look so the more spikes the closer you place them. You want them a little more spread out then so every 3 lashes. Just have fun with it. Try going back and forth between both eyes. So if you place one spike on one eye then do the same on the other eye and then come back to that same eye and place the next one and so on. It'll help keep it symmetrical.

Lol you might be thinking too much about it. Just go with the flow. You can do classic fan classic fan or whatever your heart desires. You want it to be really light add more classics than volume fans. If you want it more fuller add more volume fans than classics. It's all up to you how you want to go about it. You can do 3 classic lashes and then add a fan. Like I said it's all up to you.

Yeah I use the same lashes. I just grab about 5 lashes and instead of fanning them I just place them like if it was a classic lash. It's that simple

Yes. That's how I like to work. I feel like I have more control of lashes not sticking and being able to match each eye the same.
