B.Com or B.Tech is fine... as long as you can learn technologies and demonstrate you can implement you should be fine. There could be jobs asking for a technical degree but not all.

True no hiring for freshers in da , if female then there are little chances data science , data analytics field is doomed since 2024
If one goes thinking nothing changes. Action taken deliver results, 50% of the times if not 100%.
If one thinks AI has killed this profession, he doesn't know AI so well.

DE will have more coding than DA irrespective of which cloud. Both AWS and AZure would require you to code.

Statistics is not that heavy for a Data Analyst, but there is certainly some knowledge needed. Tools like Power BI, Tableau help you learn these.
