Something that has helped me respond to people's texts is realizing how blessed I am that someone took the time out of their busy lives to think of me. Additionally, I always try to reply promptly and enthusiastically because in case something tragic happens to them I don't want to regret not having made them feel valued in their final hours.

I have always been a very independent girl and when I finally get into my first serious relationship - I try to retain it in some aspects, spending me time doing things that I love that my partner doesnt join with. I either spend time by myself or spend with friends without him and I want him to do the same. Its good for both of us. I love that I can be dependent on him when needed but both of us are not clingy so I dont feel bad about "losing my independence. Its different than being single because now I will have to think for another person and not just for me but that's alright when you care for someone❤
